Gluten Free Strawberry Custard Sponge Cake

This gluten-free strawberry custard cake is like Boston Cream Pie meats Tiramisu Cake meets Roulade (Roll Cake). It all starts with sponge cake. Sponge cake loves moist fillings as it softens the somewhat dry cake. They are the perfect marriage! You end up with a tender and moist cake versus soggy. The combination of custard and canned strawberry pie filling is a fantastic combination! It's a must try, whether you make a single or two-layer cake.

Gluten Free Cherry and Cranberry Margaritas

Whether you're poolside or hillside, this summer, margaritas are a fun way to celebrate. You can make a margarita bar for your guests to make their own. Just supply plenty of ice, salt, sugar (for those who don't like salt), fruit juices, and of course, gluten free tequailla. See my new article to learn how to determine if tequilla is gluten free. You can use this recipe to make a strawberry, cherry or cranberry margarita. Cheers!

Gluten Free Strawberry Cake Mix Cookies

Shortly after I published my new copycat recipe for Betty Crocker's Gluten Free Yellow Cake Mix, one of my Facebook followers asked if I could adapt a Strawberry Cake Mix Heart-Shaped Ore-Style Cookie Recipe to gluten free. I found the same exact recipe published on Thirty Hand Made Days Blog. I immediately went to work on adapting my yellow cake mix into a strawberry cake mix.

Gluten Free Mug Cake: Strawberry Shortcake (Microwaved)

There are a few advantages to making individually portioned desserts. You can save money, consume less sugar, fat, and calories by avoiding subsequent servings, and they cook up quickly. I enjoy them because you can adjust the toppings and flavors to fit individual needs. Microwave mug cakes are perfect for college students. You may be able to think of additional advantages. If you do, please share them in a comment below. Meanwhile, enjoy!

Image: Gluten Free Layer Cake

Make this gluten free layer cake recipe filled with homemade strawberry filling of strawberry jam. The cream cheese frosting is to die for! It is my favorite frosting. If you make the homemade filling be sure to use the cooking method versus the blended method. You will want it nice and thick. I cheated and used jam. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy this recipe.

Image: Gluten Free Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake Bars

Do you need to feed a crowd where the typical size cheesecake just isn't enough? This gluten free cheesecake is made in a 13 x 9-inch dish and cuts up into bars quite nicely. Rather than having to make homemade gluten free graham crackers, you make and pre-bake the crust all in one step. Use strawberry jam or make homemade agave jam (recipe linked below). Either way, it's a special treat, even gluten-eaters enjoy.
