I developed a bread pudding recipe for KitchenAid’s 6-Quart Slow Cooker with Easy Serve Lid back in 2012. I have played around with the recipe a couple of times since then. I have doubled the custard which I enjoyed much better. My husband is a bread lover and likes it dense with a single custard amount. So, it’s really up to you. Recently, I used the standard amount of custard, but I threw in some Comstock apple pie filling. (You can use homemade, if desired.) This gluten free apple bread pudding turned out delicious and it’s made in a slow cooker! Continue reading “Gluten Free Apple Bread Pudding”
Gluten Free Apple Cider Donuts
I must have lived a shelter life as I never had heard of apple cider donuts until recently. They showed a recipe for Apple Cider Donut Trifle on The Chew TV show. With the flavors of Christmas, I thought I’d give a gluten free apple cider donuts recipe a try. They turned out delicious! They remind me of hot apple cider in the form of a donut. If you haven’t ever tried one, now is your chance. Continue reading “Gluten Free Apple Cider Donuts”
Flavorful Gluten Free Turkey Gravy
I usually cook turkey giblets, strip the neck for meat and mince up the rest. I add it my stuffing to increase the flavor. The thought may be unpleasant to some, but the flavor certainly is not. It’s incredible. However, if you wish to make flavorful gravy, the giblets may be added to it, as well. Either way, this gluten free gravy recipe is wonderful. Gluten Free Dutch Apple Pie
Out of all the gluten free pies I have made, I would have to say this gluten free Dutch apple pie is my favorite. It has a unique crust plus a crumble topping, which both create texture, sweetness, and flavor! It’s the best of both worlds. Apple filling is my favorite of all. I love cinnamon and what goes better with it than apples? Okay, cinnamon bread comes to mind, but that’s only good with tons of butter. Meanwhile, enjoy this recipe! Gluten Free Pumpkin Cheesecake with Pecan or Graham Crust
The key to this delicious gluten free pumpkin cheesecake is patience. Allowing to slowly cool in the oven prevents the deep falling and cracking that many cheesecakes do. Continue reading “Gluten Free Pumpkin Cheesecake with Pecan or Graham Crust”

Gluten Free Caramelized Brussels Sprouts and Bacon
Caramelized brussels sprouts with bacon is the ideal way to serve brussels sprouts. If you don’t usually enjoy them, I believe you’ll be pleasantly surprised. The bacon not only adds flavor but when braised in a heavy skillet also adds flavor. These are an elegant vegetable to serve to guests. Gluten Free French Fried Onions Recipe
While I already have a Gluten Free Onion Ring Recipe on this site, this recipe is used with my Green Bean Casserole Recipe. There isn’t much difference between the two, other than the spices. You can even skip the onions altogether and add additional onion powder to the batter. Then add the batter to a squeezable, plastic mustard container or pastry bag fitted with a small tip and squeeze little strips into the hot oil and fry until crunchy. Either way, they’re so good! Continue reading “Gluten Free French Fried Onions Recipe”
Gluten Free Chocolate Pasta Recipe (Sweet or Savory)
If you’ve visited Italy recently, you may have seen chocolate pasta. It is one of the latest gourmet delights. While they were only sold in their gluten versions for quite some time, I saw some selling online that were gluten free at one point. However, you can easily and inexpensively make your own. You do not even need a pasta machine to do so. Continue reading “Gluten Free Chocolate Pasta Recipe (Sweet or Savory)”
