Whipped cream is naturally gluten free, and once you’ve made homemade whipped cream you’ll never go back to can whipped cream again. If you prefer not to have that greasy texture, then this gluten free recipe is for you. Of course, you may use Cool Wwhip, as it is gluten free. However, you may wish to avoid corn syrup, as this is an ingredient in cool whip. I’ve been making homemade whipped cream for quite awhile, now. It is something I have always preferred. Gluten Free Chocolate Ganache & Dark or White with Dairy-Free Options

On a gluten free diet or any diet for that matter, there’s nothing more decadent than gluten free ganache! Fortunately, it is naturally gluten-free, as long as you use gluten free chocolate. It is made from chocolate, whipping cream, and vanilla. You may use ganache on any of your gluten free dessert recipes, or prior to cooling, while it is still thin, (or you may thin it out with additional whipping cream use it as a sauce for plating purposes. It makes a heavenly glaze for cakes, brownies, ice cream, donuts, and more, or allow it to harden some and use it as a frosting. Chinese Soy Free Gluten Free Barbecue Sauce Marinade

Gluten Free Soy Free Chinese Barbecue Sauce

It took a bit of research to create this Asian gluten free barbecue sauce. Traditionally, an Asian barbecue sauce recipe will call for hoisin sauce, which is made up partly of soy beans and soy sauce, which usually is not gluten free, and certainly not soy free. Wanting one that is soy free is what brought me to create a portion of this recipe. The main reason is that I am developing a gluten free egg rolls recipe, and needed to get all my ducks in a row. I planned on using barbecued pork as one of the ingredients but wanted more of an authentic Asian gluten free barbecue sauce. Due to my allergies, it is taking a couple of gluten free recipes just to get started on the egg rolls, but if you’re not a soy-free dieter you may use store-bought items to make it easier. And I discovered that tomato or ketchup is not a traditional ingredient though you may find it used in some recipes. Stay tuned in for more on the egg rolls soon, if all turns out well. Flourless Gluten Free Cake Recipe: Made from Walnuts

Flourless Walnut Cake

This gluten free cake recipe turns out a very delicate, lightweight, yet moist, gluten free cake. One layer may be used as a coffee cake, without the heavy weight, or layer it, if you desire. It contains no oil, as the walnuts and egg supply sufficient amounts of fat. Garnish with honey or agave and top with walnuts or make 2 layers and frost with a cream cheese or white frosting. Whether serving with coffee, tea, or a glass of milk, this gluten free cake will surely hit the spot if you have a sweet tooth, and it is all free of highly refined sugar (depending upon if you use honey or agave) and is high in protein. High Protein Gluten Free Crepes – Blintz – Cheese Rolls (Flourless)

I needed to create a cheese rolls recipe, often known as blintz, using tapioca flour starch for an eHow video and thought I would include dairy-free options. Though you may use cow’s milk for a creamier crepe, dairy-free milk or even water will work. I filled my crepe with chopped sauteed Swiss chard with garlic, a mixture of sauteed onion and red bell pepper, topped with a little Gluten Free Bechamel Sauce. Though these are high in egg, they do not taste eggy. Fill with anything sweet or savory. A crepe filled with cottage cheese is known in the Jewish community as a blintz. Others fill them with cheese and roll them up like a burrito around all sides and bake until warm. Usually, they are then topped with a fruit sauce. Gluten free crepes are like an empty canvas. Gluten Free Bechamel Sauce Recipe (Basic Gluten Free White Sauce)

Bechamel Sauce Without All-Purpose Flour

One can use this gluten free bachamel sauce (pronounced “bay shoe mel) as a base for any cream sauce. You may add spices, or pureed roasted red peppers, cheese, and more. Often times, when using potato starch to thicken sauces it tends to thin when reheated. I used tapioca starch in my old recipe, and now a new thickener that stays thick. What will you use to flavor this sauce? Be creative! Make a chili bechamel and stuff some crepes with ground beef and sauteed onion and peppers. This sauce really is a blank canvas. Gluten Free Vol-au-Vent for Sweet or Savory Recipes

A vol-au-vent is a French pastry which is made from layers of puffed pasty, hallowed out and filled with anything from sweet to savory. This gluten free vol-au-vent is stuffed with peach pie filling, however, you may fill it with something savory which contains a little sauce or moisture, such as a seafood mousse, chicken pot pie filling, etc. How this recipe came about was when I stumbled upon a recipe for vol-au-vent, and just had to make a gluten free version. While this recipe turns out a crust similar to pie crust, it can be made with my new flaky gluten free phyllo dough. This gluten free vol-au-vent recipe allows you to be creative. You can shape them into hearts for Valentine’s Day or four leaf clovers for St. Patrick’s Day. You can scallop the edges or whatever you desire. Give it a try. Perhaps you’ve already tried Carol Kicinski’s Gluten Free Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe. Well, these are another favorite, Gluten Free Peanut Butter Cookies with Oats. The twist? They are sugar-free and contain oats. Feel free to use another sugar-free alternative, other than xylitol. And if you’re corn-free, use a birch derived xylitol. Meanwhile, these flourless gluten free peanut butter cookies are packed with fiber, are low in carbs and yummy! Add chocolate chips, if desired. Gluten Free Macaroni and Cheese with Chicken and Broccoli

I had plans on making gluten free macaroni and cheese and then had the idea that adding some broccoli would be a great combo. Then I got carried away and decided to through the some chicken breast fillets in at the bottom of the baking dish. It made the chicken very moist, and delicious. I hope you enjoy this recipe.
