On April Fools I was trying to think of a good idea for a gluten free recipe or product that seemed outrageous. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, all I could come up with is bacon breadcrumbs. I thought, why not give it in real life. They are truly amazing! Enjoy.

Gluten Free Bacon Breadcrumbs
Add incredible flavor to your dishes with this incredible gluten free bacon breadcrumbs.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup gluten free bread crumbs*
- 1 Tablespoon bacon grease
Instructions:
- Use either packaged gluten free breadcrumbs or homemade from your favorite gluten free bread. When using homemade, process them in your food processor by pulsing a until crumbs form.
- Add bacon grease to a heavy skillet over medium heat.
- Add gluten free breadcrumbs and saute until golden brown.
- Optionally, you may bake bacon (or fry in a skillet); and then combine some with your breadcrumbs.
- Use as desired to top casseroles, buttered macaroni, macaroni and cheese, to bread meat and vegetables, just to name a few items.
Tips
*Using the crumbs left over from slicing homemade gluten free bread is ideal to use for breadcrumbs. They make different size crumbs.
Allergens vary depending upon the breadcrumbs or bread you use.
