Gluten Free Microwave Popcorn

Fully popped gluten free popcorn kernels right in your microwave without the high cost of microwave popcorn and the GMO kernels.

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup gluten free popcorn kernels (Orville Redenbacher - Non-GMO)
  • 1 lunch-size paper bag
  • Butter, melted (optional) (Earth Balance* spread for dairy-free)
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Add popcorn to a bag and flatten it. Fold it down about 3/4 inch four times.
  2. Place the bag flat in the microwave. Set the microwave for popcorn setting (not snack size). Let it run the full time. (All kernels probably won't pop.)
  3. Add melted butter, if desired. Shake the bag, add salt and shake again. Serve in same bag or a large bowl.

Tips

*Depending upon which variety of Earth Balance spread you use, will depend upon its allergens. The Original contains soy, but they offer a soy-free variety.
