  118. I need this add I’m a poor broke college student (well, graduated 18 days ago, but basically the same state) and current bread machine had been used for regular bread for years and needs replaced. I’d love to be able to make bread *I* can eat and the whole family would love!

Thanks – Kathie

  130. My husband was diagnosed with celiac in 2005. The previous year we had started making major changes to our eating style and one part of the change was making our own bread. We loved our bread machine. When he got diagnosed, the bread machine was more hassle than it was worth. The adjustment to GF bread is hard enough, meaning the dough and its stickiness and how to adjust and so on. Of course, my health issues then took over and trying to make my own bread was next to impossible. Recently, I have also gone GF based on borderline result and subsequesnt tolerance testing. It also seems to help my health, overall, with brain fog and other things. I would love to have a GF breadmachine. The recipes are so much better now and to even have recipes ready made for the machine – WooHoo!

  131. I’m just learning about GF products because my friend and her daughter are GF. I’d love to make my own GF bread for them and myself of course.

  132. My parents gave away the bread machine they were given for their wedding, and it’s been really hard for me to find a GF/DF/EF bread on the market that doesn’t taste like cardboard. I have, however, found recipes on the web that require a bread maker. I’m so close to achieving sammich success, yet so far!

  133. I went GF just over a year ago, more as a political statement against Monsanto and GMO’s than anything….BUT, I have noticed that when I do have some wheat (which is very rare), it sits in my stomach like a lead ball. I FEEL better without gluten, and that is the best reason for me to stay GF.

  134. My Wife just came down with a Autoimmune disease and can’t eat Gluten, and i’m a stay at home dad with heart problems, so i’m trying to cook gluten-free meals but i’m not Betty Crocker, so it’s hard for me to make gluten free bread let alone regular bread so this bread machine would be a wonderful gift to receive.

  152. Been GF for over two years now and I have had to throw away every single load of GF bread that I have tried to make, including handmade and even one from a different brand of bread maker. They all tasted awful, had terrible texture, or fell flat. And I literally can’t stomach the store-bought ones; it would be wonderful to make a loaf that not only tastes great and doesn’t bother my stomach, but actually works in the first place! Thanks, Carla; your reworked recipe suggestions sound awesome; I can’t wait to try them in a new Breadman!

  162. I’m entering this contest because I miss good bread. Being gluten free has made me feel better but has been a challenge when it comes to missing my beloved bread.

A bread machine with a specific Gluten bread setting would be divine and would definitely help me to provide a better gluten free product/breads than the yucky stuff that is available in the supermarkets. Do they really believe that people can like the textures of their breads. No way – Carla we share the same first name (spelled correctly of course!) and I am thrilled to be able to get the recipes you have on your website.

  179. WOW!!

Also, I should start making my own bread so I’m not spending ridiculous amounts of money on tiny, hard to find loaves in the grocery store.

  209. I am entering because I wish to have a bread machine to make healthier bread for my family!

  210. I’ve shared this on Facebook. Would like to win because I am trying to avoid gluten, as I have two auto-immune related diseases; growing body of research shows gluten is not good for these conditions. Our 6 year old daughter shares one (Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis); she was diagnosed at 6 days old, while I was 32 YO before I found out. Working hard to make sure her diet is as optimal as possible (fresh, not processed foods whenever possible, avoiding gluten, etc); this bread machine would be a big assistance in that goal!

  211. I have shared on fb. Like all that needed to be liked. This would be great to win so I could make my own gluten free bread. Thank you for a chance to win.

  216. Newly diagnosed with an allergy to wheat and 17 other foods. Cannot afford a bread machine as I take care of my 80 ur old father who has leukemia and my disabled brother. Is hard eating as I should when I’m making food for everyone else in addition to seperate meals for me. All my meals have to be made from scratch with nothing processed. A bread machine would help me be able to have bread because I can’t afford to have store bought gluten free bread. I miss bread !!!

  217. Newly diagnosed with celiac, so this would be a great way to get started making my own bread. Thanks for hosting the giveaway. Good luck everyone!

  220. Make our own bread and eating gluten-free to help my husband heal 18 months of hives. This blessing would be a very welcome surprise.

  221. I have baked GF bread from recipes I have found on different GF websites, some have been OK, some terrible and others just not quite right. I have tinkered with my own flour blends, and modified many recipes; some results have been fairly good but most are blah. I came across http://glutenfreerecipebox.com/ very recently and tried the GF Hamburger bun recipe – and WOW, it exceeded all my expectations. Next I tried the GF sandwich bread, it has no rice and very little tapioca flour and so was hoping for a bread that was not gummy, and WOW again. I believe that with the Breadman Professional 2 lb. Bread Maker – Model No. BK1050S I will be able to make the GF white bread consistently and more often. And my daughter who has celiac will eat it and want more!

  222. I’d love to win this. I used to bake bread from scratch all this time before I was diagnosed with celiac but I haven’t tried gf bread. It’s too intimidating for some reason. This might push me to give it a go.

  230. My 6 year old son has had eczema since the age of 4 months old. One of the biggest contributing factors to his flare ups are gluten. We now have his flare ups under control through diet and alternative medicines. We have had him on a gluten free diet for about two years. This bread machine would make it so much easier for me to not only control the ingredients in the bread, but also make him a fresh bread that he would actually like. A lot of the store bought breads are bland and fall apart easily. Plus they are a little pricey.

  231. I started writing across country in a semi with my husband recently. I got very sick. I was sick for about 4 months before trying everything I finally stopped eating breads and pastas. I am gluten intolerant. I refuse to pay for 5-6 slices of packaged bread. It has been about 8 months and I would REALLY LIKE to eat bread again.

  232. I’m a college student on a very tight budget, eating gluten, corn, dairy, egg, coffee, yeast, and tapioca free is EXCEPTIONALLY hard!!! (And expensive). I’d love to win one of these so I can make my own bread and reduce the already expensive grocery list a bit.

Stage four lung cancer that has now metastasized to his brain, liver, hips and spine so we are busy with chemo and radiation, drs appts, meds and still everyday life. Any kind of time saver would help . And I’m hoping adding gluten free breads would entice him to eat more for the strength he needs for his fight.

  242. I’m celiac and have DH. Right now I’m feeling the effects of cross contamination with my DH. With a Breadman I might be able to make bread that all of my family would eat and life without gluten crumbs would be wonderful.

  243. I’m entering because our last bread machine broke on us. It gave us many faithful years of service. But money is tight and I’m not sure when we will be able to afford a other one. So this would make, making home made gluten free bread for my family that much easier. Especially since I just had major surgery! :)

  244. For years I’ve suffered with multiple symptoms and been misdiagnosed. Finally correctly diagnosed with celiac. My husband, the amazing man he is, went gluten free with me. I found out that celiac disease is hereditary and my cousin has it also. I am being diagnosed to see if i might have a form of it.
The breadman bread machine would be a great plus as i try to find bread and it is so hard and small and molds so fast. It would be great for me to then make my own. Yes, i would love to win this machine. Thanks, Kathy

  277. Not that I deserve it more than anybody else, but that being said this would help me tremendously because I live at least an hour from any store that sells gluten free anything!! .

    Thank you

  278. I would love to win this bread machine so I can make my own bread!

  288. When I found out I had a gluten allergy last year, my sweet daughter bought me a Breadman bread machine. I was so thrilled. It made awesome bread. I dropped it and broke it. I don’t have the heart to tell her. This would replace the one she got me. It looks like the same model!
