This gluten free dairy free yogurt substitute recipe makes the creamiest yogurt-like mixture you've ever had.

Ingredients
1(14.5-ounce) can full-fat coconut milk
2tablespoonsarrowroot starch/powder/flour
Tiny pinch of saltoptional
Instructions
Add the coconut milk and arrowroot powder to a cold small saucepan. Whisk until the arrowroot powder disappears into the milk.
Cook over medium-high heat, whisking frequently to prevent the bottom from sticking to the saucepan. Lower heat to medium if it begins to stick. cook until thick, about 10 more minutes.
Allow the homemade yogurt substitute to cool at room temperature and then store in a glass container covered in the refrigerator. (It will thicken up a little bit more as it cools but not much more.)
