Dr. Fenster is an internationally renowned gluten-free expert, recently inducted into the prestigious international culinary society, Les Dames d’Escoffier International. She is the president and founder of Savory Palate, LLC., a gluten-free and allergy-free consulting firm, author of multiple titles, including gluten-free and allergy-free cookbooks; the creator of Bob Red Mill’s gluten-free mixes and recipes; and tapes 3 shows a year entitled “Creative Living with Sheryl Borden” on the Public Broadcasting System (PBS). Her latest cookbooks include Gluten-Free 101: The Essential Beginner’s Guide to Easy Gluten-Free Cooking and 100 Best Quick Gluten-Free Recipes.
As the president and founder of Savory Palate, LLC., Carol assists those with Celiac Disease, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, food allergies, autism and other conditions that may be improved by a change in diet. She offers cooking lessons on food sensitivity, intolerance and allergies fulfilling gluten-free and allergy-free industry needs. She holds a doctorate in Sociology and consults with corporations in Italy, Japan, Mexico, and Canada. Carol’s media credits include Reader’s Digest, Woman’s World, Taste for Life, Natural Health, Vegetarian Times, Living Without, and Gluten-Free Living as well as several gluten-free websites. She recently teamed up with GFree Cuisine, a gluten-free recipe and menu planning program.
