While I already have a Gluten Free Onion Ring Recipe on this site, this recipe is used with my Green Bean Casserole Recipe. There isn’t much difference between the two, other than the spices. You can even skip the onions altogether and add additional onion powder to the batter. Then add the batter to a squeezable, plastic mustard container or pastry bag fitted with a small tip and squeeze little strips into the hot oil and fry until crunchy. Either way, they’re so good!
Crunchy and golden French fried onions to top your greenbean casserole or other casseroles. You can even omit the onion to make crunchy shoestring strips.

Can these be stored and if so for how long?
Edna,
Homemade gluten free food tends to soften quickly. I wouldn't suggest storing them. I you wish to make them a day before use, leave them out at room temperature or store them in a paper bag.
