Privacy Statement:

• In addition to the secure site, additional security software such as firewalls have been installed.
• When doing anything on this website, your email is never sold or shared with anyone besides Carla. Your email is not visible once your comment is published. She never discloses any of your details to third parties.
• When entering a giveaway, and you win, the name, address, phone number, and email address that you provide as a winner are shared with the company or person sponsoring the giveaway in order to send you the prize(s). Sometimes this is a manufacturer, book publisher, individual company owner, or Carla.
• The server for this website resides with Knownhost web services. This site is on shared server with two other websites with separate login. The only person with login information to this website via the server and WordPress (online blog software) is Carla. Knownhost and Wrodpress have their own privacy policies. See Knownhost’s Cookie Policy and WordPress Website Visitors Policy.
• This website also uses CloudFlare to speed up the loading of pages and for security such as adding an additional firewall. CloudFlare does not have access to any of this website’s files or your personal information. They only track statistics of IP addresses that have visited this site. See Cloudflare’s End User (section) of their Privacy Policy.
• This site contains Google ads. Google AdSense is a tool that allows website publishers to deliver advertisements to site visitors in exchange for revenue calculated on a per-click or per-impression basis. To do this, Google uses cookies and tracking technology to deliver ads personalized to a website user/visitor. This technology gathers personal information from users and their devices, including information about IP addresses and user location, as well as behavior information such as websites visited, products viewed or purchased, and other personal preferences. Please review Google’s Adsense Policy for what information they collect. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings. However, ads support websites. Without them, most websites wouldn’t exist. So, learn about what you can do to control Google ads.
• This site uses cookies that are stored on your computer. All of the cookies are anonymous and do not include personal details. They are used for the following purposes:

(a) Your IP Address is provided to Carla when you leave a comment. Your IP Address will never be used unless warranted such as to take action on spammers.

(b) Cookies will be generated and stored on your computer when visiting this website for the purpose of improving your experience such as remembering your login information when you check the box to do so on the login page. If you do not want any information saved, check your browser’s instructions on how to disable cookies. However, login information will not be automatically saved for members.

Retaining Your Information:

As with most websites, this site is registered with major search engines such as Google. Beginning May 25, 2018, Google allowed site owners to set their length of time that information such as IP Address and site activity/page views, the device used, location (city, state country), etc. (NOT personal information like name, address, or phone number) will be stored. This information is helpful for site owners to determine what people are searching for to better their website to make for a better experience for someone like you. This is how this information is used for this site as well. Originally, the information was stored on Google servers indefinitely. Now, data associated with cookies, user identifiers, or advertising identifiers are saved for 50 months.

Your Personal Information:

Previously, when this site was a paid membership site, personal information such as name, mailing address, etc. was collected and is retained for tax information for up to 7 years. If you wish to have this information completely deleted, please do not hesitate to contact Carla and she will immediately oblige the request. Keep in mind that other reasons that this information is stored such as to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Carla will retain your personal information for no more than seven years following the date on which you terminate your use of Services unless she is otherwise required by law or regulation to retain your personal information for longer.

Information left in the comments section on any page is retained indefinitely. If for any reason you wish your some of your personal information to be changed or deleted, please submit in writing via the Contact Page why you wish this to be done. Everything in my power will be done to grant your request.
