Jovial™ Foods has agreed to sponsor another gluten free giveaway, this time it’s for their gluten free fruit filled cookies and brown rice pasta. If you’re a regular reader, you may have read my Jovial Brown Rice Pasta Review from over a year ago. Since then, Jovial made Food & Wine’s top pick for gluten free brown rice pasta. Though the previous review included a giveaway that has already ended, it will give you an idea of what their pasta is made of and the gluten free certification, etc.
Their facility was specifically designed to ensure an absolutely safe product, but it is not dedicated gluten free. They bake using dedicated equipment on separate production days. And each batch is certified and tested for gluten at less than 10ppm (parts per million) through the GIG (Gluten Intolerance Group) of North America’s GFCO (Gluten Free Certification Organization).
My Review of Jovial Gluten Free Cookies
Today I am reviewing their new gluten free fruit-filled cookie line. Let me just say this. I am in heaven, alone, because they do not contain tapioca, which turns out I am allergic to (though I continue to develop recipes which contain it.) The other reason I’m in heaven is because I have fallen in love with their fig filled cookies. They’re soft and chewy, and the filling is much like I remember Fig Newton’s to be, perhaps better, since I wasn’t a big Fig Newton’s fan. I’m just a sucker for a soft cookie. This girl’s gotta have her starch! The chocolate cookies, both vanilla cream and chocolate cream, are on the crunchy side and my hubby loved all of them, as he enjoys both crunchy and soft cookies. However, his fave is the fig fruit filled ones. Check out the ingredients and photos of the products below.

oh thank you, thank you, thank you!! God bless you <3 I responded to your email with my address/phone number.
Please enter me in your contest for the pasta and cookies. I have not tried this brand yet - but I too used to love fig bars.
I shared this on FB - and I am soooo hoping I can find these in my area!! I miss fig newtons desperately!
I would love to win! I have not tried any of these products yet. My 9 yr. old daughter and I have Celiac Disease and my husband is such a blessing and is also GF with us. So the entire house is GF. It's hard to find new ideas for my family to try. Thanks!
