Nature’s Path Gluten Free Cereal and Bars Review

Nature’s Path is one of my favorite gluten free brands. I am not alone, though. So many of my readers rave about this brand as well, from newbies to veteran gluten free dieters. They offer every type of gluten free cereal you could wish for to replace gluten brands. Besides the ones below, think Corn Puffs and Raisin Brand. They have them all in a gluten free version made of many organic ingredients. Stay tuned in for an amazing giveaway tomorrow (I will link to it here)! Two lucky winners will each receive a box/package of each and every product you see below.

Certified Gluten Free

Nature’s Path makes several different types of products. Their Envirokidz line are many kids as well as adults favorites. All of their gluten free products are certified by the Gluten Free Certification Organization (GFCO) to be under 10 parts per million gluten (ppm), half the amount the FDA allows. This doesn’t mean that their products are just under 10 ppm, they may be 5 ppm or zero. It is just tested at 10 ppm. They implement safe manufacturing practices to avoid gluten cross-contamination.

Certified Organic and non-GMO

In addition to being gluten-free certified, Nature’s Path products are certified organic and non-GMO.

Qi’a™ Superfood – Chia, Buckwheat & Hemp Cereal Cranberry Vanilla

Starting with this superfood cereal, I was pleasantly surprised. I have tried other brands of superfood cereal and to tell you the truth, they tasted “healthy” meaning they were grainy and had little flavor. This one is just a delight. It contains two of my favorite flavors, cranberry and vanilla. You can soak this cereal for 5 minutes in milk or add it to shakes, yogurt, and more. My favorite way of using it is to add some to dry cereals or granola for a health boost. It is also available in plain or other flavors.

Ingredients: Chia seeds*, buckwheat groats*, hemp seeds*. *Organic. Produced in a facility that uses soy, peanuts, dairy and tree nuts. See nutritional facts.

Whole O’s Cereal

Whole O’s do not taste like Cheerios or any other brand of O’s cereals I have ever tasted as they usually contain oats and modified starches that contain chemicals. Nature’s Path Whole O’s contains corn and brown rice. They are so crispy! They even stay super crispy in milk. Surprising to me, I enjoyed them with non-fat milk and half of banana sliced!

Ingredients: Brown rice flour*, corn flour*, evaporated cane juice*, pomegranate juice concentrate*, sea salt. *Organic. Produced in a facility that uses peanuts, tree nuts and soy. See nutritional facts.

Dark Chocolate Chip Chewy Granola Bar

My husband was able to sample these amazing bars. Who would refuse a bar with a little dark chocolate? We keep hearing how a little bit of dark chocolate is healthy for us. Steve explained that between the chocolate and the chewy texture, you can’t go wrong.

Ingredients: Granola* (gluten free rolled oats*, evaporated cane juice*, sunflower oil*, rolled amaranth*, rolled quinoa*), tapioca syrup*, chocolate chips* (evaporated cane juice*, unsweetened fair trade chocolate*, cocoa butter*, soy lecithin*), brown rice flour*, brown rice syrup*, invert cane syrup*, acacia gum*, sunflower oil*, evaporated cane juice*, sea salt, natural flavor, molasses*, cultured non‑fat dried milk* (skim milk*, starter culture). *Organic. Contains dairy and soy. Produced in a facility that uses peanuts and tree nuts. See nutritional facts.

Fruit Juice Sweetened Corn Flakes

Prior to being sent samples of Nature’s Path, I was a previous user of their corn flakes. They are the only brand I have ran into that makes gluten free cornflakes; and they taste like the gluten ones! You can use serve them without an additional sweetener along with fruit or try Carol Fenster’s recipe for Gluten Free Oven Fried Chicken (Egg-Free).

Ingredients: Corn meal* and/or yellow corn flour*, grape* and/or pear* juice concentrate, sea salt. *Organic. Produced in a facility that uses peanuts, tree nuts and soy.

Gluten Free Selections Summer Berries Granola

I can eat this granola every day! I actually did until it ran out. It contains an array of dehydrated berries and is sweetened with evaporated cane juice (a less processed sugar). I love it!

Ingredients: Gluten free rolled oats*, evaporated cane juice*, sunflower oil*, yogurt chips* (sugar*, palm kernel oil*, non-fat milk powder*, lactic acid, soy lecithin*, salt, vanilla*), rice starch*, freeze-dried blueberries*, freeze-dried berry blend* (freeze-dried strawberries*, freeze-dried raspberries*), sea salt, natural flavor, tocopherols (Vitamin E). *Organic. Contains soy and dairy. Produced in a facility that uses tree nuts and peanuts. Vegetarian. See nutritional facts.

Envirokidz Koala Krisp Cereal

My husband expressed his delight that this gluten free cereal matches the rice crispy cereal he had as a kid exactly. The milk turned chocolaty, as well! Note that it has not been decades since he has tasted its gluten counterpart, as he eats gluten food as did our kids and do our grandkids. Dad/Grandpa likes to test them to make sure they are fresh. Sure! (sarcasm)

Ingredients: Brown rice flour*, evaporated cane juice*, cocoa*, natural flavor, sea salt, molasses*. *Organic. Produced in a facility that uses peanuts, tree nuts and soy. See nutritional facts.

Chunky Chocolate Peanut Chewy Granola Bars

My hubby taste-tested these bars. He’s a huge peanut and peanut butter fan, but stated that these do not have a peanut flavor, but the chocolate chips were a very nice touch. He enjoyed this bar and included in his own category name of traditional granola bar.

Ingredients: Granola* (gluten free rolled oats*, evaporated cane juice*, sunflower oil*, rolled amaranth*, rolled quinoa*), tapioca syrup*, dark chocolate chunks* (evaporated cane juice*, unsweetened fair trade chocolate*, cocoa butter*, soy lecithin, vanilla*), brown rice syrup*, brown rice flour*, roasted peanut*, invert cane syrup*, peanut butter*, acacia gum*, sea salt, evaporated cane juice*, tocopherols (vitamin E), molasses*. *Organic. Contains peanuts and soy. Produced in a facility that uses dairy and tree nuts. See nutritional facts.

Envirokidz Chocolate Crispy Rice Bars

My husband, Steve, loved these because of their chewy texture. I believe the cocoa portion was also a factor.

Ingredients: Brown rice flour*, brown rice syrup*, honey*, invert cane syrup*, milk chocolate* (evaporated cane juice*, cocoa butter*, milk powder*, unsweetened chocolate*, soy lecithin* [added as an emulsifier]), soy oil*, evaporated cane juice*, cocoa*, acacia gum*, sea salt, molasses*, natural chocolate flavor, natural vanilla flavor. *Organic. Contains milk and soy. Produced in a facility that uses peanuts and tree nuts. See nutrional facts.

Trail Mixer Chewy Granola Bar

Again, Steve enjoyed these trail mixer bars just as much as the Chocolate Crispy Bars due to their chewy texture. He has a huge sweet tooth and enjoys bars with dried fruit, in this case, cranberries.

Ingredients: Granola* (gluten free rolled oats*, evaporated cane juice*, sunflower oil*, rolled amaranth*, rolled quinoa*), tapioca syrup*, brown rice flour*, brown rice syrup*, sweetened dried cranberries* (cranberries*, evaporated cane juice*, sunflower oil*), invert cane syrup*, roasted almonds*, roasted peanuts*, dried coconut*, flax seeds*, pumpkin seeds* (pumpkin seed kernels*, salt), acacia gum*, sunflower oil*, sea salt, cinnamon*, molasses*. *Organic. Contains peanuts and tree nuts. Produced in a facility that uses soy and dairy. See nutritional facts.

Envirokidz Peanut Choco Crispy Rice Bars

Steve raved about these bars. He repeatedly ranted, “I can eat 1000’s of these!” He mentioned that they had a very light peanut flavor, but the chocolate shined through. They look like a Cocoa Krispies Treat.

Ingredients: Granola* (rolled oats*, evaporated cane juice*, soy oil*), tapioca syrup*, roasted peanuts*, chocolatey icing* (evaporated cane juice*, palm kernel oil* and/or cocoa butter*, cocoa*, natural flavor, soy lecithin*, sea salt, tapioca starch*), brown rice flour*, invert cane syrup*, peanut butter*, acacia gum*, sea salt, evaporated cane juice*, molasses*, tocopherols. *Organic. Contains soy and peanuts. Produced in a facility that uses tree nuts and dairy. See nutritional facts.

Honey Almond Granola

I enjoyed their Honey Almond Granola as much as I enjoyed the Summer Berries Granola. Again, I ate this every morning until the bag was empty. Just delicious!

Ingredients: Gluten free rolled oats*, cane sugar*, sunflower oil*, roasted almonds*, clover honey*, flavor*, rice starch*, sea salt, chia seeds*, tocopherol (Vitamin E).  *Organic. Contains tree nuts. Produced in a facility that uses soy, peanuts and milk. Vegetarian. See nutrtional facts.

Envirokidz Peanut Butter Crispy Rice Bars

Steve likened the Peanut Butter Crispy Rice Bars to a Rice Krispies treat. They barely have a peanut butter flavor, but it is enough to notice that they are not a plain rice krispy treat. Kids will love them.

Ingredients: Brown rice flour*, brown rice syrup*, honey*, peanut butter*, invert cane syrup*, evaporated cane juice*, soy oil*, acacia gum*, sea salt, molasses*. *Organic. Contains peanuts and soy. Produced in a facility that uses tree nuts and milk. See nutritional facts.

Fruit & Nut Granola

My husband taste-tested the Fruit & Nut Granola. He’s not a big nut fan, but loved this one! He enjoyed the clusters the most. As stated, earlier, he’s got a big sweet tooth. It is flavored with cinnamon pumpkin and flax. It sounds healthy, but luckily he didn’t read that before tasting it. He’s my big kid! Adults and kids alike will enjoy these.

Ingredients: Gluten free rolled oats*, evaporated cane juice*, sunflower oil*, roasted almonds*, dried cranberries* (cranberries*, evaporated cane juice*, sunflower oil*), raisins* (coated with sunflower oil*), dried coconut*, pumpkin seeds*, flax seeds*, rice starch*, cinnamon*, tocopherols (Vitamin E). *Organic. Contains tree nuts. Produced in a facility that uses soy, dairy and peanuts. Vegan. See nutritional facts.
