Im diabetic. Can this be made with Swerve?

I have never used Swerve, but they state on their website that,
“Swerve is zero-calorie, non-glycemic and measures cup-for-cup like sugar. It’s sweet, safe and natural...Browns and caramelizes just like sugar.”
If the above us true, you can definitely use Swerve in this recipe.
