Saying Goodbye to the Personal Recipe Boxes

Unfortunately, Ziplist, the company who offers the free personalized recipe boxes and shopping lists over the years is shutting down its website and most of its services. As you can see, the menu bar at the top of the pages on this site no longer include the “Recipe Box” tab.

On each recipe page you have an option to “Save recipe” or “Print”. While the “Print” option will remain, soon the “Save recipe” will disappear.

Between now and December 10, 2014, you may download the recipes and shopping lists you had saved. Just visit Ziplist by clicking here.

For all the information regarding this change, you may visit the FAQs on Ziplist here.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Alternative Solutions

See below for some alternative solutions:

  • Print the recipe out and save them in a binder. (Printing is the best option. You never know when I may improve upon the recipe and it may no longer fit your needs.
  • Bookmark your favorite recipes in your browser. See the separate instructions for Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer.

Meanwhile, I will keep the recipes coming.

Have a wonderful holiday season.

  • Do you have a book that has all or most of your recipes in it? I know you have offered ebooks, but I am looking for a paper book. Thank you for your answer.

  • Oh, I forgot to say that I save the recipes that I want on a word document and then print them out and save them in a binder. That way I can make comments to myself about ingredients, taste, adjustments, etc. Thanks again!

  • Hi Carla. I don't know about saving to a recipe box but I did want to just say that I have made many of your recipes and each one turns out great! Sometimes I have to replace ingredients due to other allergies but they still turn out great! Thank you for your dedication!!
    Many hugs!

  • When my print box opens, there is a box in the left bottom corner labeled PDF. It lets me save as a pdf instead of printing, so I have a folder in my computer already with all my favorites from your site! I'm not sure if that's only on Mac or not.
I do love your stuff, and this weekend I've made egg rolls for my girl who'd been craving them, and the onion strings for green bean casserole. The onion strings got me a huge hug from my sister, too :)

    • Beth,

A great suggestion! Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad to hear you are enjoying my recipes, too.
