This one we tweaked a bit by adding more walnuts along with the almonds. ou can use any nuts you like, but using at least one soft nut is helpful for this recipe. For those who cannot tolerate oats, these are perfect. Homemade granola bars are one of our family favorites. I hope you enjoy it, too!

carla can i use splenda instead this sounds like an easy breakfaast i hate breakfast only eat it due to my meds
Skip the splenda and add more dates. You need the stickiness of the date and/or the agave syrup to make it stick together. It's pretty wet as is, so you might just skip adding additional dates and skip the agave. It really is a sweet granola bar naturally.
This looks yummy, Im a huge fan of pecans and a lot of the recipes I do I use pecans instead of other nuts....I think Ill try this one with pecans too!
