Chewy Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

While I have a few recipes for chocolate chip cookies on this site, they are either double chocolate, soft, or a bit crunchy. This one is your typical chewy gluten free chocolate chip cookies. I don't know why I haven't developed a recipe for them earlier as they are one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we have.

Gluten Free Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love chewy cookies. So, that's the way I decided to make these gluten free oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Yum! I add chopped walnuts, but you can omit them, if desired. A matter of fact, you can even omit the chocolate chips, if preferred. You can add raisins, dried cranberries, or even dried blueberries. Make them your way!

If you looking for soft gluten free chocolate chip cookies, you've come to the right place. If you prefer firm cookies check out my previous Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies made with a bit of almond flour. While this recipe is delicious, I favor the almond flavor a bit more. If you have access to superfine rice flour, I highly recommend using it over regular rice flour, as the regular is quite gritty. See the tip section to prevent a bit of this gritty flavor. Meanwhile, enjoy!

Single Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie

These gluten free chocolate chip cookies are wonderful! One member was in a panic when she couldn't find the recipe. She said that they are her family's favorite gluten free cookies. One of my cookbook recipe testers rated them 10/10, excellent! They have a bit of crunch to them and a surprise ingredients for added flavor.
