A famous pastry chef recently shared his world-famous chocolate chip cookie recipe on television. Since it is Chocolate Chip Cookie Week, I just had to convert it to gluten free with my special twist to create more flavor. You may make this nut-free or not, even allergen-free.
I have been having so much fun developing a copycat recipe for Wink Frozen Desserts. They are 25 calories and 1 net carb per 1/2 cup. So, that’s 100 calories for an entire pint! I’m in! At the price of Wink pints, $8.00 each, plus shipping, you save a lot of money making your own. They are allergen-free and so much healthier than any other frozen dessert. Plus, they are completely sugar-free and contain healthy ingredients like pea protein and flaxseed meal. Make whatever flavor you want! If you’re looking for gluten free bread that can be used for sandwiches outside of the home that won’t crumble by the time you eat them, give this copycat recipe for Udi’s Gluten Free Millet Chia Bread a try.
Looking for an amazing sandwich roll recipe? These copycat gluten free Subway rolls are it! This is one of those recipes you’ll make over and over again. They are such a treat. I recently used them to make sandwiches but will use them to make my Thanksgiving dressing and for garlic bread. I haven’t been this excited since I discovered Schar gluten free parbaked baguettes, but this copycat recipe is moist and contains healthier ingredients. So, they’re better though slightly heavier. Mildly spiced or super hot, these exceptionally flavorful gluten free battered curly fries don’t have to be made curly. Use a standard cut if desired. Pople say they taste like Arby’s curly fries. I’ve included the deep-fried battered and baked versions. Enjoy!
So many of my followers have been enjoying the new Udi’s Gluten Free Soft White Sandwich Bread that I thought I would make a copycat recipe. My husband really enjoys it for toast and for sandwiches. This bread is designed to make sandwiches in advance and the bread remains soft and fresh. It is wonderful to toast as well. (This recipe calls for Expandex.) Keep in mind that while this bread is denser compared to my other gluten free bread recipes, you can leave it on the counter and it will remain fresh for at least two days. Check out the texture in this video! Continue reading “Udi’s Gluten Free Soft White Sandwich Bread Copycat Recipe”
I had a member email me requesting a copycat recipe for Tate’s Chocolate Chip Cookies. Not until I made them did I discover that there are actually Tate’s Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies on the market. Tate’s cookies are extremely popular in the South Hamptons and are sold at the Tate’s Bake Shop, well known from coast to coast. I’ve never tasted them, but these cookies are crisp on the bottom and around the edges and buttery inside. I hope you enjoy them. Barb, I hope your grandson enjoys these just as much!
