In preparation for my upcoming butternut squash ravioli recipe I wanted to share my new roasted butternut squash recipe with you. Of course, once I create the ravioli recipe, I will link to this recipe. It is naturally gluten free, does not contain any allergens, and is very yummy! If plan on pureeing this for any reason, consider using a portion of butternut squash and and a portion of sweet potatoes. It makes it thicker and creamier without the use of cream or cheese. Gluten Free Donuts – Buttermilk – Deep Fried

Gluten Free Blueberry Pie
Today is National Blueberry Pie Day! What better way to celebrate it than with a gluten free blueberry pie? You will find the link below to my gluten free double pie crust, which is pretty easy to handle compared to most gluten free pie dough. This makes transferring the crusts a breeze, especially in a double pie crust. If you’re pretty new to pie baking, consider cutting out shapes and placing it on top, like in this Gluten Free Cherry Pie. I think I’d use smaller stars next time, though. Meanwhile, I hope you get to enjoy some of this delicious blueberry pie, as it is made with fresh blueberries. If you don’t have the time for fresh, use Comstock or Wilderness brand pie fillings. Enjoy! Continue reading “Gluten Free Blueberry Pie”
Soft Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies
If you looking for soft gluten free chocolate chip cookies, you’ve come to the right place. If you prefer firm cookies check out my previous Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies made with a bit of almond flour. While this recipe is delicious, I favor the almond flavor a bit more. If you have access to superfine rice flour, I highly recommend using it over regular rice flour, as the regular is quite gritty. See the tip section to prevent a bit of this gritty flavor. Meanwhile, enjoy! Continue reading “Soft Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies”
Gluten Free Bloomin’ Onion
If you’ve ever been to Outback Steakhouse and had their gluten-filled bloomin onion than you know how good it would be go have a gluten free bloomin onion. The recipe below may be made with mineral water or gluten free beer. It’s all up to you. Either way, this gluten free bloomin’ onion recipe rocks! I hope you enjoy it as much as my husband and I have over the years. We’ve used beer in the past. For a spicy sauce to dip them in, see the links below. Continue reading “Gluten Free Bloomin’ Onion”
Soft Potato-Free Corn-Free Gluten Free Bread Recipe (Dairy-Free Option)
I thought it appropriate to create a gluten free bread recipe which is free of both corn and potato since so many of you are intolerant to either or both. My husband is a breadaholic. He refers to himself as a bread connoisseur. It’s always a compliment when he enjoys my gluten free bread recipes, as he still consumes some gluten food. He enjoyed this one, and I hope you will, too. It’s perfect for young kids as well as adults.
Note: The photo of the bread folded below is when it is cool…and it is still very soft.

Gluten Free Spaghetti and Meatballs
This recipe brings back fond memories of our traditional Sunday Italian dinner at my grandmother’s house when I was a child. Though Grandma didn’t make gluten free spaghetti and meatballs, this recipe tastes just the same. All you need is good tasting gluten free bread crumbs (there are some bad ones out there) or gluten free oat flour. You can make this recipe to serve a crowd, or freeze most of it for future use. I usually make it ahead of time and freeze it in several different size contains: individual, two servings, four servings and one large one. Then I am prepared for unexpected guests or when I just don’t have the time to cook for my hubby. I’m allergic to tomatoes, but my guests and husband really enjoy this recipe, and I hope you do, as well. Continue reading “Gluten Free Spaghetti and Meatballs”
Homemade Gluten Free Bisquick Recipe
While Betty Crocker® makes a gluten-free Bisquick mix, it contains modified starch and aluminum, which many people prefer to avoid. If that’s you, or you’re interested in saving money, try this homemade version. Continue reading “Homemade Gluten Free Bisquick Recipe”
Gluten Free Osso Buco in a White Wine Sauce
Osso buco (also known as ossobuco) is my father’s favorite dish. He orders it whenever he sees it on a menu. It is an Italian recipe and when translated mean “hole of bone”. This is due to its succulent bone marrow. Perhaps this does not sound appealing, but you will have to taste it to appreciate it. The rich flavor of the marrow is what creates its rich sauce. Though you will find osso buco recipes that call for red wine, I chose to use white as it is traditional. If you desire an old school version add a bit of cinnamon. Many assume the tomato based sauce is traditional, but it is actually a modern version. Served over polenta or mashed potatoes and topped with gremolada (parsley, lemon juice, and garlic), this gluten free osso buco is a beautiful dish. (See vegan version in the Tips section below). Gluten Free Snickerdoodles
Fresh out of the oven or cooled, these gluten free snickerdoodles are to die for! Just like traditional snickerdoodles, they are a light, soft, sugary cookie with a crisp, chewy outer shell. The inside is not quite cake-like, but definitely not dense like regular cookies. They are chewier than cake. I surveyed my Facebook followers on how they enjoy their snickerdoodles. Due to the mixed results, I have added several tips at the bottom of this recipe so that you may adjust it according to your preferences. These are made my way. I hope you get to enjoy them your way!
