When a recipe calls for Campbell’s Golden Mushroom Soup, use this flavorful gluten free golden mushroom soup recipe. It can be made tomato-free if desired, as well as without mushrooms, though they add additional flavor. Without any MSG or modified starch, as the original canned soup contains, this homemade version will save lots of money! It is definitely healthier for you since it is also free of modified food starch, wheat, or soy. You can make casseroles again with the same great flavor! Gluten Free Parisian Gnocchi (French-Style)
If you’ve ever been to Paris or anywhere in France, when you order Gnocchi, you do not get the gnocchi that you’re used to getting in Italy. There is quite a difference. Parisian gnocchi is light, fluffy, and more flavorful. If you’re afraid to make homemade gluten free pasta, this is a wonderful alternative. They are pillowy clouds that you can fry to add even more flavor and a slightly crisp texture. Add in herbs, spices, and even cheese, if you like. Serve for breakfast, lunch, or dinner as a side dish or main dish. Continue reading “Gluten Free Parisian Gnocchi (French-Style)”
Gluten Free French Beignets – Light and Airy New Orleans Donuts
This recipe is nothing like Yeast-Based Gluten Free Beignets (the ones that are popular in New Orleans, usually made from biscuit dough). Instead, they are Gluten Free French Beignets, popular in France. This dough creates light and airy pastries that have a marshmallow-like texture inside the shell, similar to churros. I don’t know anyone who would stop at just one. They’re just so light! Continue reading “Gluten Free French Beignets – Light and Airy New Orleans Donuts”

If you’re a regular reader, you may remember my review of Ryze Gluten Free Flours, both their blue and yellow bags. I’ve figured out their recipe and how to improve it. So, I provide you with the same recipe, using only two ingredients and also how to easily improve it. You’ll save yourself some money by making it at home. Gluten Free Fried Chicken Sandwich (Dairy-Free Egg-Free Gum-Free)
Using chicken breasts or thighs, you can make this amazing gluten free fried chicken sandwich. While some breasts may taste dry when cooked, this recipe is a far cry from dry, evidenced by its photo. Dairy Free Buttermilk Substitute Recipe (Vegan) – Faux Buttermilk
After years of trying to help those with food allergies, I have come up with a new, amazing recipe for a buttermilk substitute. This magic mixture may be made with or without dairy. Whether dairy tolerant or not, buttermilk is a gluten-free baker’s best friend. It makes cakes and biscuits lighter and rise higher, meat and poultry tender, and adds a little tangy flavor to bread and other baked goods. This recipe makes a buttermilk substitute that is the same consistency of regular buttermilk. While you do not need lemon juice or vinegar, a specialty ingredient is required, available on Amazon.
