As part of my 12 Days of Gluten Free Giveaways, I would like to share with you on this 10th Day of Gluten Free Giveaways, one of my favorite gluten free products, Applegate Natural Gluten Free Breakfast and Luncheon Meats. What Makes Applegate Products Safe?

For the chicken nuggets and breakfast sausage items, they receive a gluten-free certificate from the GFCO (Gluten Free Certification Organization) based on being less than 10 parts per million (ppm) when testing each batch. They go above and beyond the FDA regulation, which requires less than 20 ppm.  The other items on the list are gluten free because they don’t contain any gluten ingredients, just meat and spices. They do not certify these because they are made in a dedicated gluten free facility.

  3. I have had to eat gluten free for quite some time. Now, recently diagnosed with chronic, persistent Lyme disease it is imperative that I eliminate all gluten products. This would be a huge help in maintaining a healthy diet while I work towards healing.

  216. Applegate is one of my favorite companies! I had to go gluten free a few years ago because of Crohn’s disease and at the time I wasn’t eating meat for health reasons. Slowly I transitioned into eating locally sourced meats and ones that were humanely raised and minimally processed. I found Applegate and loved how their products are high quality and free of nitrates. Plus they offer gluten free options which I love. I had to enter this giveaway when I saw it!

I was lucky enough to stumble upon Applegate earlier this year and spent the whole summer bbqing their super tasty hot dogs; sometimes wrapped in Applegate’s bacon… oh yeh, I did say bacon. I know when I feed my friends and family Applegate meats, I am eating real food with no hidden ingredients or agendas. Applegate equals quality you can trust.

  225. My boyfriend and love of my life has Crohn’s disease and can’t eat gluten or dairy products. He’s underweight and often gets depressed due to the inconvenience of eating and living with such a difficult disease. I try to find food for him to make it easier but it’s expensive and I’m a broke college student. To win free food that he could eat would be so wonderful. He would feel happy and unburdened for at least a little while.
