While not all ready-made or boxed pudding brands are gluten free, you can always use naturally gluten free ingredients to make them from scratch. Instead of making gluten free pudding, which contains flour, I prefer custard. There isn’t any floury taste or texture in custard because it does not contain flour. While this may not occur in pudding with wheat flour, it does in gluten free pudding. In addition, gluten free flour creates a bit of slimy texture in pudding (too thick). Apple & Beet Juice Jelly Recipe
During The Great Depression, a beet juice jelly recipe was something people turned to save money. It was inexpensive to make versus using fresh fruit. I’ve been on this beet kick, whether I steam fresh beets or use canned. Canned beets contain about 1/2 cup of juice ready to use in this recipe. I save it up to make beet juice jelly, or in this case, apple beet juice jelly. Today, beets and its juices are consumed for multiple health benefits from fighting inflammation to cancer. I use a combination of apple cider and xylitol (a sugar substitute) to sweeten it, making it almost guilt free. Then add your favorite extract to create a unique flavor. Souffles tend to scare people because they’ve heard they fall often. There are tricks to creating the perfect souffle. Besides having the correct ratio of ingredients, you need something dry to coat the ramekin/container you bake it in, to which the egg mixture will adhere. Crunchy Baked Gluten Free Onion Rings
Bake onion rings for those you love! If you have about 45 to 60 minutes, you must try these crunchy, baked gluten free onion rings. I not only bread them in gluten free breadcrumbs, but I enjoy adding Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese. Seasonings are optional, though. How to Cook Fresh Spinach and Remove Excess Water
Q. How do I remove the excess water from freshly cooked spinach?
A. When I first started cooking spinach, my sister pointed out that mine was too wet. I squeezed out as much as I could, but it still was quite watery when you bit into it. She didn’t provide me with a method on how to cook fresh spinach, but I finally discovered the secret to removing the excess water. I also have discovered an extremely handy way of cooking it right on the stove top. I share my knowledge with you, just in case you weren’t aware of this method.

Skinny Gluten Free Chocolate Cake
I created this gluten free chocolate cake recipe with coconut flour when I received a sample of CooKoo for Coconut Organic Flour. My first thought was that one sure way to think healthy and skinny is to increase the fiber in your diet and consume healthier fats. Coconut flour is the perfect way to do both. A matter of fact, when you bake with coconut flour it is so packed with fiber, it acts like a sponge and absorbs much of the liquid. Therefore, you cannot substitute it cup for cup with gluten free all-purpose flour, but you can definitely replace up to 50% with little adjustments, and less with no adjustments at all.
