Hearty Gluten Free Chicken Stew

Gluten Free Chicken Stew

For a super-flavorful gluten free chicken stew, make this recipe. It has all of the flavor of mushrooms without the actual mushrooms. However, you can use fresh mushrooms if you wish. Some people dislike the texture of mushrooms. Meanwhile, you’ll absolutely love this chicken stew. I’ll be adding this recipe to my regular recipe rotation of gluten free dinner meals.

Gluten Free Gooey Butter Cake (St. Louis Homemade-Style)

Gluten Free Gooey Butter Cake

Popular first in the St. Louis area, and now around the country, the gluten free version of Ooey Gooey Butter Cake is now a thing. I never thought I would enjoy something so sweet, but I love it more than cookie dough! This dessert has a chewy crust at the bottom with chewy crisp edges that everyone will fight over. There is a thin crust on the top and the cream cheese filling is gooey, and a bit like cheesecake but a little softer and sweeter. It’s a rich dessert, but it’s so scrumptious, that it’s hard to stop at one piece.

Gluten Free Dairy Free Biscuits

Gluten Free Dairy Free Biscuits

So easy to make, these similar to cream biscuits are actually gluten free dairy free biscuits. They are the perfect texture. It’s hard to believe their dairy-free. Just combine the dry mix with the two liquid ingredients and rest the dough. Then, in less than five minutes you’re ready to bake yourself some biscuits! A just-like-egg substitute is listed for those who may need it. The only allergen this recipe includes is coconut, without any coconut flavor.

Gluten Free Vertical Layer Cake – Coffee + Other Flavors

Gluten Free Vertical Layer Cake

I am just so excited about this cake! Prior to my retirement, I have several bucket list recipes to develop. This one I did, just for the challenging aspect alone. It’s not only a unique and stunning presentation but the cake and frosting are incredibly delicious. Though the cake is completely dairy free, (you may use dairy if you wish), it is rich and moist, which is unusual for a sponge cake. I won’t make sponge cake any other way from here on out. In addition, the recipe for the frosting, my favorite, Italian buttercream, is laid out to address anything that goes wrong (too thin or looks curdled). This is the perfect recipe to use for a roll cake or vertical layer cake.

Golden Brown French Fries without Flour or Added Starch (Gluten Free)

Golden Brown Fries

Have you ever wondered how fast-food chains like McDonald’s and others make golden brown french fries? Well, unlike us, they have access to many refined additives like modified starches, dextrose, and more. McDonald’s even uses beef flavoring that contains wheat and milk ingredients. Meanwhile, check out this recipe to learn what one simple ingredient can do to turn your pale fries into golden beauties! They are nice and fluffy on the inside, a perfect match. Browning always adds flavor to food. These are the best-tasting fries we’ve ever made.

Gluten Free Lady Baltimore Cake

Gluten Free Lady Baltimore Cake

The Lady Baltimore cake is well known In the Southern United States. The cake consists of a white three-layer cake or sponge cake, filled with buttercream and a nutty fruit filling. My gluten free Lady Baltimore Cake consists of white cake, a mixture of Italian buttercream and whipped cream, and a nutty fruit filing. The white cake is amazing! I give you a choice of buttermilk white cake or traditional. (The buttermilk is more flavorful, but heavier.) Enjoy!

Gluten Free Blackout Cake aka Brooklyn Blackout Cake

Gluten Free Blackout Cake

Blackout cake, also called Brooklyn Blackout cake, consists of chocolate cake, filled with chocolate pudding, and topped with chocolate cake crumbs. My take on the cake is a little bit different in that this gluten free chocolate blackout cake is not topped with cake crumbs. Instead, crumbs are only placed on the sides and the cake is topped with a little chocolate ganache. Instead of vanilla pudding, this cake is filled with chocolate pastry cream. It’s divine and perfect for Valentine’s Day with plenty of leftovers to consume or freeze.
