Gluten Free Gingerbread House Recipe – Delicious & Sturdy

Delicious and Sturdy Gluten Free Gingerbread House

This gluten free gingerbread house recipe is both structurally sound and delicious. A matter of fact, I’ve never cared for gingerbread, even when I ate gluten. I couldn’t stop eating this one! It truly is the best gingerbread house I have ever tasted. My hubby, who loves gingerbread cookies/houses, says it tastes just like the gluten versions. Use the template I provide and make it your own as I did, or use your favorite template.

Gluten Free Cut Out Sugar Cookie Recipe

Gluten Free Cut Out Sugar Cookies

Most of the sugar cookies I have tasted are a bit dry as they all contain egg. Therefore, I added additional butter to the recipe I developed so that you do not have to sacrifice on flavor or texture. Additional butter makes them more delicate, but not as delicate as shortbread. They are somewhere in between shortbread and sugar cookies. Enjoy this gluten free cut out sugar cookie recipe and fun decorating them. Continue reading “Gluten Free Cut Out Sugar Cookie Recipe”

Gluten Free Oatnut 3-Seed Bread Machine Recipe (or Oven)

Gluten Free Oatnut 3 Seed Bread for Bread Machine

Oat bread has always been my adult bread of choice. When I went gluten free, it was the bread I missed the most, next to sourdough. I’ve created a number of gluten free oat bread recipes. This one mimics Oroweat’s Oatnut 3 Seed Bread. They both contain the same seeds, but this one is minus the wheat flour and works with a bread machine that has a gluten free setting. I used the Breadman BK1050S. If your machine doesn’t have a gluten free setting, look for my other oat bread machine recipe at the above link. Enjoy. Gluten Free Pineapple Cherry Upside Down Dump Cake

Gluten Free Upside Down Pineapple Cherry Dump Cake

A surprisingly addictive gluten free dump cake recipe made with canned cherry pie filling and canned pineapple. A dump cake is an easy recipe where you literally dump the ingredients into a baking dish and bake it. Using a cake mix is the usual method. While you can use Betty Crocker’s Gluten Free Yellow Cake Mix in this recipe, it is so much better when you use my self-rising gluten free cake flour blend recipe and sugar. I am not a fan of cherry, but combined with pineapple, the flavor is pretty incredible. I couldn’t stop eating it. I felt so guilty afterwards. Oh well, I’ll have to watch what I eat for the next few days. Enjoy! Continue reading “Gluten Free Pineapple Cherry Upside Down Dump Cake”

Gluten Free Apple Bread Pudding

Gluten Free Apple Creme Brulee Bread Pudding

I developed a bread pudding recipe for KitchenAid’s 6-Quart Slow Cooker with Easy Serve Lid back in 2012. I have played around with the recipe a couple of times since then. I have doubled the custard which I enjoyed much better. My husband is a bread lover and likes it dense with a single custard amount. So, it’s really up to you. Recently, I used the standard amount of custard, but I threw in some Comstock apple pie filling. (You can use homemade, if desired.) This gluten free apple bread pudding turned out delicious and it’s made in a slow cooker! Continue reading “Gluten Free Apple Bread Pudding”

Sweet & Savory Gluten Free Meatloaf

Sweet & Savory Gluten Free Meatloaf

Savory enough for adults with enough sweetness to please the kids, this gluten free meatloaf will please all. My husband grew up on a Kid-Friendly Meatloaf Recipe which contains ketchup. I’m trying to get him away from all of the salt that ketchup contains. mainThis is it! It’s sweet without too much salt. I love it! As a kid, I hated my mother’s meatloaf, but fell in love with mother-in-law’s ketchup-oatmeal version. I’ve been allergic to tomatoes for years and had to give it up. Now this is one you can sink my teeth into. The flavor remains even between two thick slices of bread. In addition, it’s so moist.
