Gluten Free Chicken Mole (Mild)

Mole is a flavorful Mexican sauce that contains just a tad bit of chocolate. (Chocolate is great in chili, as well.) It usually contains plenty of hot chiles, but this gluten free chicken mole does not. Because chicken tenderizes so quickly it is a fairly fast recipe. When all is said and done you have a rich sauce covering moist, tender pieces of chicken. Instead of serving this with gluten free tortillas, you may serve it with soft naan bread (Indian flatbread). Peach Glaze or Peach Compote

In preparation for my new cake recipe that uses this peach glaze to substitute frosting, I thought I would share it with you now so that I can link to it in the recipe. It has all sorts of uses. You can add cinnamon to it and top ice cream, use it plain, or add hot spices such as cayenne, ginger, and chili powder. Baste your pork and chicken entrees using savory or hot spices. Gluten Free Ham Glaze – Honey Mustard

If you’ve tried other gluten free recipes for glazed ham and were not satisfied, you may find this gluten free ham glaze recipe just up your alley. It is a bit different than others, as it contains apple cider vinegar for a slightly tangier zing. However, it contains plenty of honey for sweetness, and a tab of butter to brown your ham well. Braised Beef Stew in a barbecue beer and wine sauce

Who would have thought a barbecue type sauce would turn out so well with braised beef stew, but it did, with the help of a few gourmet ingredients. Braised meat brings so much more flavor to dishes. Being allergic to tomatoes, I used my tomato-free barbecue sauce which worked wonderful with this recipe, being that it’s a bit more savory than traditional barbecue sauces. Gluten Free Honey Mustard Salad Dressing – Sauce

I was in the mood for a new salad dressing, and something that would compliment chicken. Though my chicken was not marinaded, I really was in the mood for honey mustard chicken. So, the next best thing was to create a honey mustard dressing. This dressing can be used as a sauce for many other dishes, besides salad. Chocolate Gluten Free Caramel Sauce

The consistency of this gluten free caramel sauce is much like the hot fudge for ice cream you can purchase in jars. However you may heat it and thin it out with additional milk, if desired. It calls for my gluten free dulce de leche recipe (thick, rich caramel sauce), but you can also purchase dolce de leche already made. Hershey’s makes one that is gluten free. Once you have your dolce de leche made or purchased, this chocolate caramel sauce may be made, literally, in one minute. Someone once said that the only thing they would trade chocolate for is dolce de leche. Well, I wish they could taste this. It’s heaven on a spoon! Gluten Free Dulce de Leche Recipe (Caramel Sauce)

I keep hearing rave reviews about every homemade dulce de leche recipe (thickened, sweetened milk). I even read one review that stated, “the only thing I would trade chocolate for.” I knew I just had to make some. It’s much like a caramel sauce, but not as sweet and without the concern of barley malt sometimes found in caramel coloring. However, caramel coloring is usually made from corn. That’s another thing I like to avoid when at all possible, corn, and especially corn syrup which is sometimes called for in a dulce de leche recipe. Gluten Free Chocolate Ganache & Dark or White with Dairy-Free Options

On a gluten free diet or any diet for that matter, there’s nothing more decadent than gluten free ganache! Fortunately, it is naturally gluten-free, as long as you use gluten free chocolate. It is made from chocolate, whipping cream, and vanilla. You may use ganache on any of your gluten free dessert recipes, or prior to cooling, while it is still thin, (or you may thin it out with additional whipping cream use it as a sauce for plating purposes. It makes a heavenly glaze for cakes, brownies, ice cream, donuts, and more, or allow it to harden some and use it as a frosting. Gluten Free Bechamel Sauce Recipe (Basic Gluten Free White Sauce)

Bechamel Sauce Without All-Purpose Flour

One can use this gluten free bachamel sauce (pronounced “bay shoe mel) as a base for any cream sauce. You may add spices, or pureed roasted red peppers, cheese, and more. Often times, when using potato starch to thicken sauces it tends to thin when reheated. I used tapioca starch in my old recipe, and now a new thickener that stays thick. What will you use to flavor this sauce? Be creative! Make a chili bechamel and stuff some crepes with ground beef and sauteed onion and peppers. This sauce really is a blank canvas. Gluten Free Chicken Recipe: Broiled Honey Mustard Fillets

I’m in love, and I’m not referring to my husband. I’m in love with this honey mustard gluten free chicken recipe! I was was in a rush and need an easy gluten free chicken recipe that was low in fat and dairy-free. It was wonderful! It is similar to orange chicken, without the orange. If you’re not dairy-free you may also enjoy my Gluten Free Honey Yogurt Chicken Recipe which is also very good; and less sweet and a little creamy. However, this gluten free chicken recipe is a bit more gourmet, as it calls for white wine and other flavorful additions.
