If you like a little crunch and a nutty flavor in your gluten free whole grain bread, this recipe for toasted hemp seeds will be a perfect fit for you. It’s very easy to do and takes very little time. You can toast any seeds, but hemp seeds in particular need to be toasted, as they are hard seeds. Other seeds such as sesame seeds don’t need to be toasted. You can use toasted hemp seeds not only on the tops of your bread, but inside, as well. Now, get to baking some gluten free bread!

Of course, once I create the ravioli recipe, I will link to this recipe. It is naturally gluten free, does not contain any allergens, and is very yummy! If plan on pureeing this for any reason, consider using a portion of butternut squash and and a portion of sweet potatoes. It makes it thicker and creamier without the use of cream or cheese. Gluten Free Blueberry Pie

Today is National Blueberry Pie Day! What better way to celebrate it than with a gluten free blueberry pie? You will find the link below to my gluten free double pie crust, which is pretty easy to handle compared to most gluten free pie dough. This makes transferring the crusts a breeze, especially in a double pie crust. If you’re pretty new to pie baking, consider  cutting out shapes and placing it on top, like in this Gluten Free Cherry Pie. I think I’d use smaller stars next time, though. If you prefer firm cookies check out my previous Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies made with a bit of almond flour. While this recipe is delicious, I favor the almond flavor a bit more. Mocha Frosting – or Coffee (Naturally Gluten Free)

In earlier years I was never a fan of buttercream frosting. However with age we our taste buds change. Actually, I believe we lose some. Since I have experimented with different flavors of frosting, I have come to appreciate them. This mocha frosting is one of my new favorites, especially on a rich chocolate cake. You can easily adjust the recipe to make coffee frosting with the tips provided. The key to a good buttercream frosting is how long you beat it. You want it to be airy and light, similar to mousse. This recipe brings back fond memories of our traditional Sunday Italian dinner at my grandmother’s house when I was a child. Though Grandma didn’t make gluten free spaghetti and meatballs, this recipe tastes just the same. All you need is good tasting gluten free bread crumbs (there are some bad ones out there) or gluten free oat flour. You can make this recipe to serve a crowd, or freeze most of it for future use. I usually make it ahead of time and freeze it in several different size contains: individual, two servings, four servings and one large one. Then I am prepared for unexpected guests or when I just don’t have the time to cook for my hubby.
