New: Enjoy Life Soft Baked Bars (Decadent Bars) Review & Giveaway

Enjoy Life sent me their new Decadent Bars, also known as Enjoy Life Soft Baked Bars. Unfortunately, because I am allergic to tapioca, I could not participate in the their review. However, my husband who still eats gluten and is not allergic to anything reviewed these bars. This is his first solo review. In addition, for the first time, I have added a photo of him, while he is saying “Their all mine!” – referring to these Enjoy Life Decadent Bars. Enjoy Life S’more Decadent Baked Decadent Bars

Ingredients:

“The S’more soft baked bars taste like a chocolate bar, but drier. You can taste the grains (buckwheat). They’re flavorful and have some crunch to them.”

Ingredients:

Tapioca Syrup, Date Paste, Palm Oil, Brown Pure Cane Sugar, Pre-Cooked Quinoa Flakes, White Rice Flour, Raisins*, Dried Apple, Vegetable Glycerin, Puffed Amaranth, Rice Crisps (Rice Flour, Rice Bran, Raisin Juice Concentrate, Honey, Salt), White Drizzle (Evaporated Cane Juice, Palm Kernel Oil, Ricemilk, Sunflower Lecithin, Vanilla, Salt), Infused Dried Orange Peel (Orange Peel, Sugar, Sunflower Oil, Ascorbic Acid, Citric Acid), Ground Cinnamon, Natural Flavors, Salt. * sulfite free.

They’re rich and creamy At the same time, it has a gooey side to it.”

Tapioca Syrup, White Rice Flour, Tart Cherry Dried Halves (Cherry, Sugar, Red Tart Cherry Juice, Sunflower Oil, Citric Acid), Date Paste, Palm Oil, Brown Pure Cane Sugar, Pre-cooked Quinoa Flakes, Dried Apples*, Rice Crisps (Rice Flour, Rice Bran, Raisin Juice Concentrate, Honey, Salt), Vegetable Glycerin, White Drizzle (Evaporated Cane Juice, Palm Kernel Oil, Ricemilk, Sunflower Lecithin, Vanilla, Salt), Salt, Natural Flavors, Ground Cinnamon, Citric Acid, Ground Cloves. *Sulfite-Free.

“It’s chewy.”

“Yes, but there isn’t much a cherry flavor. That means they must be natural, which is good!”

Tapioca Syrup, Sunflower Seed Butter (Roasted Sunflower Kernel, Evaporated Cane Juice, Salt), Evaporated Cane Juice, Chocolate Chips (Cane Sugar, Chocolate Liquor [Non Alcoholic], Non-Dairy Cocoa Butter), Roasted Lightly Salted Sunflower Kernels (Sunflower Seeds, Sunflower Oil, Salt), Rice Crisp (Rice Flour, Rice Bran, Raisin Juice Concentrate, Honey, Salt ), Cocoa Powder, Oil Roasted Pumpkin Seed Kernels (Pumpkin Seeds, Sunflower Oil, Salt), Vegetable Glycerin, Brown Drizzle (Evaporated Cane Juice, Cocoa Powder, Palm Kernel Oil, Ricemilk, Sunflower Lecithin, Salt, Vanilla), Pre-Cooked Quinoa Flakes, Puffed Amaranth, White Rice Flour, Salt, Light Buckwheat Flour, Vanilla, Millet Flour, Xanthan Gum, Konjac flour.

“There is a slight cinnamon flavor, but it seems like I taste a coconut flavor, too.” (It doesn’t contain any coconut at all.) It would be great with a cup of coffee. If you like dates and raisins you will love this bar, very chewy!”

I asked Steve what his favorite flavor was. His reply:

“Chocoalte Sunbutter, but I like them all. There’s a bar for every mood.”

Do you mean a bar for every craving?

“No. Mood. They say there are times when you are under stress that you want something crunchy. The S’more bar is the one with with a bit of crunch. Like I said, there’s one for every mood!”
