Review and Giveaway of Gluten Free Bars: Health Warrior Chia Bars and Seeds

I absolutely love the health benefits of chia seeds! They are known as a superfood. Health Warrior gluten free Bars are packed full of chia seeds. Luckily for me, they sent us some samples to try (4 of their 6 flavors) which my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed. They are 100% natural, vegan, dairy-free, and soy-free. Discover what we think of them, the newest flavors, their ingredients and allergens, how safe they are if you have a gluten intolerance, and finally, enter the giveaway. Two lucky winners will each receive 30 Health Warrior gluten free Bars plus a bag of chia seeds worth $60, per winner. If you enter, good luck!

Are Health Warrior Bars Free of Gluten Cross-Contamination?

Health Warrior bars are certified by the Gluten Free Certification Organization (GFCO) to be under 10 parts per million (ppm) gluten. Every lot is tested prior to packaging. The United States standard for products labeled gluten free is 20 ppm.

Our Review:

All of the Health Warrior gluten free bars are chewy with a lot of crunch from the chia seeds. They are made from natural ingredients and are also low in calories. Just knowing that they contain chia seeds is reason enough to have them as a snack. Once you discover your favorite flavor, I am sure you will feel the same. The Banana Nut flavor is my favorite and my husband really enjoys the Apple Cinnamon. His second favorite is the Acai Berry.

While my husband finds the Banana Nut only light in banana flavor, I feel they are a perfect balance of banana and nuts. Steve enjoys the Apple Cinnamon most because he finds them to be sweeter than the others. He also appreciates the cinnamon accents. Neither of us are coconut lovers, but if you are, note that they do not have a strong coconut flavor. I find that anything with a strong coconut flavor often contains artificial flavoring. Health Warrior Coconut Bars actually contain unsweetened coconut versus flavoring or oil.

While I did not taste the Acai Berry bar (I’m allergic to citrus), I enjoyed all of the other flavors. Health Warrior Gluten Free Bars are also available in Coffee and Chocolate Peanut Butter. Which flavor is going to be your favorite?

Some Nutritional Facts:

Each bar contains 3 grams of protein, 4 grams of fiber, and only 5 grams of sugar. And the bet part is that each bar only contains 100 calories (coconut flavor has 110)!

  21. I found out about 2 weeks ago that I have celiac disease and am desperate to find products that are TASTY. As a PhD student, I can’t really afford spending over the moon prices on products, nor do I have oodles and oodles of time. I’m trying my hand at making some gluten free baked goods, but in the event it goes bottoms up, how would a fresh pack of Warrior Bars taste?!? Probably pretty good! Thanks Carla!

  22. Hi Carla, I liked your facebook, health warrior and shared it on my facebook timeline. I am already a email subscriber :) I love your website, it has helped us a lot!!

It took a lot of money to get tested, so now we are barely making ends meet. This giveaway would help us a lot, thanks :)

  24. I’ve recently become gluten free upon recommendation from my doctor (I was having some digestive problems) and it’s been tough getting started. I’m not the wealthiest person so buying specialty gluten free products is hard for me. This give away seems like a great way for me to save a little cash and maybe discover a new favorite food.
