My financial situation does not allow for room to buy anything above the basic needs to survive. I want to enter in hopes to win this mixer to make creating my GF dishes much easier on my wrists, and I bet more yummy (less lumpy).

I have been wanting one since 1999 when I got pregnent with my daughter but have never been able to budget one in :-( My daughter and I both have celiac disease so I spend a lot of time baking and make homemade treats (buying GF foods gets to expensive). Christmas is just around the corner and it’s now time to make GF sugar and ginger cookies – that mixer sure would come in handy!
    Cheers,
    Anna

  25. Please enter me into The Kitchen Aid Pro Mixer Giveaway. I am also GF for several years now & my soon to be daughter in law (wedding is 02/01/13) has recently been diagnosed with Celiac disease along with her oldest daughter. She needs to convert her house totally GF for the whole family & she is on a limited income. So GF products & flours for making things like cookies or cupcakes for treats & mixing dough for bread is important. She has 3 little girls & it is more expensive for her to purchase ready baked GF sandwich bread for school lunches. She deals with arthritis & extreme fibromyalgia too with bone loss from malabsorption over the years due to the undiagnosed Celiac, so it is difficult for her to mix ingredients by hand. It would be so awesome for my entry to win this awesome gift for her! <3 Carlyn

  58. I would LOVE to be entered for the giveaway! Our son with Autism is on a GFCF diet and his diet is pretty limited, however we are slowly increasing his foods, YAY DAX! I think it’s time I expand my repertoire of recipes now that he almost 4! Birthday parties and events where food is served are tough for us, so it would be nice to be able to bring the GFCF alternative with us so he can feel included in the festivities! I experimented with some cookies and brownies this weekend and they really were horrible, so in a addition to a mixer to make life easier I think I may need some recipes that ROCK! So glad I found your site! Thank you!

  59. I would love for you to enter me to win the Kitchenaid Mixer. I started taking cake decorating classes awhile ago, and have managed to go through at least 2 hand mixers, they burn up fast when doing your icings. I figure to take these classes where I would like to, I need to get some kind of professional mixer. My husband is also diabetic, so he has to watch the kinds of foods he eats. I am also very interested in trying all kinds of different recipes to expand our meal choices. So this mixer would definitely get used in my house. Thank you for giving someone the opportunity to win this kind of mixer that they may otherwise not be able to afford.

  66. Hi Carla,
I stumbled across your amazing website when searching for gluten free recipes for a client with dietary needs. Needless to say, she was very satisfied and I owe many thanks to you. Tyna

  67. I’d love to be entered! I’ve always wanted a kitchenaid mixer, it would help me out so much!

  68. Hey I am so grateful for your recipes and the opportunities you provide through your blog! I am GF, egg free, dairy free, and beef free. Those issues have made cooking, baking, and eating challenging. Like many before have stated, with these food issues most things I eat have to be homemade. I currently own a Kitchen Aid HAND mixer and so making anything that requires a lot of mixing is difficult. Thanks again! Mary

  69. Hi Carla,
I am happy to ask you to enter me into the Kitchen Aid Prof. Mixer Contest. I am gluten and dairy free, so, I make just about all of my meals home, made at home. I enjoy cooking and would love to put the Kitchen Aid Mixer to good use. It would sure get alot of use at my home and I would certainly enjoy using it. I also would like to make pasta (lots of it) with the attachments that can be separately purchased by me to make pasta for family and friends.

Thank you Carla, for entering me into the contest,
    Much Appreciated,
    Esther

  152. Happy Veterans Day!!

I am so grateful for all that you provide to the gluten-free community, Carla!

After two years of being passed back and forth between my doctors, I finally figured out that I am hypersensitive to gluten 4 months ago.

Having been an athlete my whole life, I relied heavily on bread-y carbs and pastas as my source of energy before games, practices, and workouts. Thus, eliminating gluten from my diet was a huge adjustment. As it is for everyone who has had or chosen to do so!

I was never one to be crafty in the kitchen. But the adjustment in my diet forced me to start trying!!

I follow you on Twitter and Pinterest, and liked you on Facebook to utilize all that you know!

Between your knowledge, recipe posts, and all that your platform provides – and the gluten free community which is such a great group willing to help and share tips with others – I feel I am through the tough adjustment phase and am living the gluten free lifestyle!

I would love to enter in to the KitchenAid giveaway – the mixer could take my crafty kitchen attempts to a whole new level! :-)

    Thank you, Carla!
    Katy O’Brien

  182. I recently decided to manifest a stand-mixer. It was a little bit of the green-eyed monster setting-in, when my daughter got one for Christmas. She’s cooking up a storm and I started to think…hmmm, isn’t it time I got one of those!

I’m currently muddling along with odd bowls and mis-matched appliances. With this on my kitchen counter I’d be the queen of fabulocity in my kitchen. I’d be whisking up recipes from Gluten Free Carla left, right and center.

I’ve accepted all the challenges above (although admitedly I already follow you on Pinterest and Facebook ~ see, I’m a real fan). So, with ten entries in the draw…I’m crossing my fingers and toes, cutting out a picture and posting it on my vision board.

  241. I would absolutely love to have this mixer! I’m purchasing a new home and this would fit right in on the cabinet! I’ve wanted one of these for a long time, but with something as big as a home purchase, if I don’t win it, I’ll have to wait quite a while! I love using my mom’s KA mixer. It makes baking sooo much fun!

  242. I would love to be entered into your giveaway. I am a big baker and this would be the perfect addition to my kitchen, not to mention making my holiday baking so much easier!!!!

  243. I’d like to be entered in the contest. I’d really like to replace my 28 year old KA!

  244. Dear Carla,

Since we were living in Vermont, where we have an Italian-style stanza in famiglia, we’ve stocked your gluten-free products for our guests.

Could you enter me in your drawing for the KitchenAid mixer?

    Mille grazie,

    Roberto Gautier

  245. I would love to win the stand mixer. While I have one already, I really could use a second newer model — as I do a LOT of baking.

  246. Hi! My 13 year old daughter loves to bake and has a website. She would love to have a kitchenaid mixer (she made me enter)!!

  247. Please enter me in this giveaway. I would love to win this because a kitchenaid stand mixer is my dream kitchen appliance.

  249. I am new to your site, as a friend made your croutons and they were wonderful! I would love to win the mixer! I have just started baking (have been gluten free for 7 months now) and it is hard work but so worth it. This would make things much better!!

  250. I would love to have new mixer with more capacity and power…..Recently, was hooked on baking and mixer is a must. Please, enter me in the giveaway and thank you.

  251. I would love to win this!!!!! I love your site. As I found out that I have ciliac and have to eat GF I am now doing alot of baking. Most of my dishes had to be gotten rid of and I am stating over so nothing is contaminated. right now I am mixing by hand so this would be a blessing for me.

  252. I would love to win the Kitchenaid Pro. I have attachments for a kitchen aid. I make bread weekly. I have just recently found the website and it has been so helpful to be able to cook and bake for my daughter who is watching her gluten intake. I do alot of baking and now have a daughter watching her gluten intake so I am experimenting with recipes lately. I am enjoying the website for the gluten free recipes!

  253. I want to enter to win the Kitchen Aid Mixer because my current mixer is about to go up in smoke. I have always wanted a Kitchen Aid and would be so excited to win. I have recipes just waiting in line to be produced by such a mixer.

  254. Please enter me! I would LOVE love love to have this amazing mixer, it would be put to good use in a good home! :)

  255. Please enter me. My daughter and I bake gluten-free stuff all the time and it would be so much easier with the stand mixer than my little hand mixer. Thanks!

  256. I am requesting to be entered in this giveaway because I love to bake and try new and yet different recipes, I have owned a Sunbeam Stand Mixer and a Sears Stand Mixer but I have never owned a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer, I have a Kitchenaid Hand Held Mixer and I see the power that it has, on both the Sunbeam and the Sears stand mixers they do not turn the bowl automatically likes it should and when I am creaming my butter and sugar I have to stand there for 20 minutes and turning the bowl manually, this is tiresome and makes the process longer, I am on disability and I know that a Kitchenaid is out of budget.

  257. Two of our family of three have celiacs, thanks so much for the information you share here! My daughter sent me your link and I’m so glad she did. I’m certain many of your recipes will find their way into our kitchen!

  258. Please enter me in your kitchenaid giveaway. I have been making gluten-free bread for almost a year now, and it’s never been very light. I’m am hoping that the solution may lay partially in a stand mixer, especially since I can’t eat rice and that means I only get to eat the bread I bake!! Thank you for all you do, have enjoyed your recipes.

  259. Liked on Facebook with my personal page: Kandi Mensing
And the page I started in my area to increase awareness of Celiac disease and gluten intolerance: Southern Illinois Celiac.

Please pick this recently diagnosed family of 3, needing a mixer.

  260. I’m a busy working mom. Managing a full-time job and trying to feed my family only organic, non-GMO foods, making all of our meals at home. My 3yo son and I were diagnosed with Celiac in May 2012. Making the transition to GF with all of our foods, sauces and seasonings has been expensive, not to mention replacing all appliances – toaster, fryer, et al. We have not yet replaced the mixer because of the cost. I have been entering all of the contests since our diagnoses and haven’t won one yet. Please pick us!

  261. Please enter me for this giveaway! I started eating gluten free in April of this year and miss bread so much! I would love to have this mixer to help me make some!

  262. Please enter me in the kitchenaid mixer giveaway. I love to bake and have hand problems so this mixer would be very helpful.

  263. I would LOVE to win this mixer. I love to bake for my friends and family. I often look for gluten free recipes because my best friend can’t have gluten. Baking is one thing I have that I can still do while going through my cancer treatments. This would be an amazing thing for me to win!

  264. I have an old model KitchenAid Mixer that I inherited from my mom when I got my first apartment 1 year ago. It just died recently and I have been unable to bake these past few weeks I’m going crazy. I have been saving up to get a new one because I want the same brand, my mom had her’s for over 20 years these are made to last.

  265. I would like to be entered in the KitchenAid stand mixer giveaway. I used to own one a few years ago. Unfortunately, when my family and I lost our income and home, we also lost a lot of our possessions. I’ve recently learned that I am gluten intolerant. I’d love the ability to be able to bake my own breads, cakes, cookies. There are plenty of stand mixers out there, but, KitchenAid is still the best. I could even make my own pasta with it! Definitely a necessity for those who need to eat gluten-free. I’m glad I found this blog and all the delicious looking recipes included!

  266. I would like to enter this giveaway to learn more about gluten free recipes and how to make them more easily. The Kitchen Aid would make at least the mixing part easier! With stiff hands, any help with mixing is much appreciated!

  267. Winning this mixer would mean a great deal to me. This mixer would help make gluten-free meals and more healthy meals for my family. :)

  268. I’m allergic to wheat and have been doing wheat-free baking with a handheld mixer. I started working in a bakery last year, which has a stand mixer. Oh my! It’s so much better than hand mixing! I’d love to have that ease and versatility at home. Thanks for offering the giveaway!

  269. Added you on my Google +. Really appreciate the mini GF cookbook. I don’t save all the wonderful pics, but look at each one!

  287. Wow. I want this! Who wouldn’t? This would be great to play and experiment new GF bread recipes!

  288. What a wonderful idea! My husband and I are in our late 50’s and were feeling worse and worse. We took a nutrition class and have completely changed the way we eat. With cutting all gluten and sugar, both of us have felt invigorated and we are truly getting our health back. I find myself cooking so much more now, since we don’t eat fast food or junk anymore! The mixer would be a great addition for my “healthy” kitchen! Thank you so much for the opportunity to have one!

  299. Please enter me into this giveaway! I have been wishing for this appliance for so long and hope that I can win this for this holiday season! I love to bake and this will make all my baking and frosting so much more fluffier and tastier!

  300. Would love to win the mixer so as to be able to do more gluten-free baking for my husband. We have a mostly worn out hand mixer and as you know, GF recipes really tax a hand mixer!

  301. I’d love to win a KitchenAid Mixer. I have only a hand-held mixer and it’s very well-worn. I have a gluten-free tip for when baking chocolate cakes from scratch, or a g-free box mix: Substitute stong black coffee for the liquid (water) in the recipe; it enhances the chocolate taste and if there is any unpleasant after-taste from the flour blend, it is completely unnoticeable! I always bake and cook gluten-free as my diet dictates. Thanks in advance, for another great giveaway contest!!

  302. Would love to win this mixer!! I have 9 children and am trying to make gluten free goodies , this would make it easier.

  307. I am entering because I would love to win the mixer. I believe a KitchenAid mixer would help me be able to mix healthier ingredients and make more home made foods, including breads for my family. I would know exactly what was going into each meal.

  308. I recently have gone Gluten Free and would love to win this mixer so my wife and I can create some delicious gluten free pastries and breads. I really miss cake, cookies and bread. You have made living gluten free less of a challenge and actually enjoyable.

  311. I love to bake and make bread, but kneading by hand is a lot of work! and with two kids running around having my hands full of dough is not very clever :)
    Thanks!!

  312. I would love to win this mixer!!!! I have a small at home gluten free bakery and I can not afford a new mixer of my own. I am using my dad’s first mixer that he used in his cheesecake store 20 years ago…Yes, my mixer is 20 years old and is on it’s last spin…I have been blessed by a friend to use her mixer till I can get a new one. I love Gluten Free Carla and I share your page often!!! Be blessed!!!!

  315. I am just learning to be gluten free. Feeling better and losing weight as a benefit. Would love a mixer.

Oh and I liked your fb page

  316. I would like to win this mixer for its large capacity and attachment capabilities (for grinding flour!) as well as its durability.

  317. My husband diagnosed over 16 yrs ago and I have been baking him breads & deserts from scratch ever since. We are now testing my son for celiac’s which means we will all be eating Gluten Free products and it can be very expensive. I was recently diagnosed with carpal tunnel so a machine like Kitchenaid would be a blessing.

  318. I would love to win this kitchen aid mixer. I love to bake things for my community and it would make my baking so much easier.

I have had a few portables, which never last past 7 years. Winning the Mixer would make my life alot easier. I bake all the time and need a mixer that will last a long time.

  322. Since being diagnosed with Celiac Disease, everything has changed, especially cooking. My daughter has a nice mixer like the one you are offering but I do not. A lot of the gluten free items that we make are real dense and are hard for regular mixers so time so it would be nice to have a good one to use.

  324. Wow! I would love this! This would greatly help with being g-free. Can’t wait to check out your recipes too!

  326. I have liked gf Carla on face book, and shared this giveway, as requested, on facebook.

  327. I would like to be entered for the KitchenAid because it would be a great help in my glutenfree cooking!

  328. I would love to win this for my daughter. She is 15 and loves to bake. We would share. Lol.

  329. Thanks for the giveaway, I would love to be entered. Ever since I started baking when I was about 13 I have longed for a Kitchen Aid Mixer. Until now it has always been out of my reach financially and with this giveaway I could finally acheive my dream of owning a Kitchen Aid Mixer.

  330. I would love to win this and learn more about Gluten Free since I haven’t done anything that is gluten free as I know of. I would love to have this mixer even though I do have a very old hand held Black & Decker (cheap) and time for a new one so that I can make a lot of Christmas food out of this.

I did tweet this and share this on facebook and following you on twitter, and Pinterest too.

  331. I’ve always wanted a KitchenAid mixer!! Mom used one all the time when I was little, but I’ve never purchased one for us. My hand-mixer works fine, but this would be so wonderful!!!

  332. Oh, wow! I would love to win the Kitchen-Aid mixer. I have one that my husband bought me years ago and I have loved it. I use it multiple times everyday as I make all the GF breads, cookies, snacks, desserts and so forth in my home. It is so much better than all the processed GF foods on the market. I would love to have the professional grade as I use it so much and have definitely put some miles on mine. Thanks for such a great giveaway!

  335. I’d love to win this mixer! I’m a very busy working mom trying to feed my family nothing but homemade goodness. This mixer would really come in handy for our Paleo recipes!

  336. Oh wow! I would be so excited and honored to win this mixer! I do not have one at all, and I do almost ALL the baking for the family at the holidays. This would certainly be wonderful and make life easier. I have been gluten free for 6 years and I still have trouble from time to time. BUT I have found a few wonderful sweets that I can make gluten free and this would be GREAT to have. Thank you so much! Please enter m into the drawing. <3

  349. Please enter me in the Kitchen Aid giveaway. I’d like to use it make gluten free bread, instead of using a bread machine.

  350. I grew up baking with my mom in the kitchen of the house my parents still live in to this day. I have such vivid memories of ginger nuts, cinnamon rolls, homemade pie crust, mashed potatoes (with lumps, please) and birthday cakes! This is where I first developed a love for baking…and eating! Years later, my daughter was born and became the center of my life. Now, after 2 boys have entered the picture, we are steadily making memories, many of which take place in the kitchen. My mom finally reliquished to me her beloved harvest gold, 1970s stand mixer which played such a large part in the making of those memories so long ago. While I love it dearly, it takes quite a beating in my kitchen, and I fear it won’t last much longer. I see the new Kitchen Aid mixers and drool over the thought of it being in MY kitchen one day! We discovered not long ago that my daughter tested positive for a gluten interopathy. Now, there is no gluten in our home, so baking has changed considerably, but is even a bigger portion of our lives! This mixer would help alot! :-)

  351. I would like to win the KITCHENAID Pro Stand Mixer because I have older stand mixers and hand mixers that don’t have a high enough RPM to appropriately mix Gluten Free dough. I have borrowed a friend’s KITCHENAID Pro Stand Mixer and Artisan Mixer to make bread and what previously had been a recipe FLOP came out as a beautiful loaf after having mixed the dough/batter appropriately. I GREATLY prefer home made GF bread to store-bought or frozen commercial loaves.

  352. I have never had one of these and have always needed one but can not afford it……this would help me to be able to cook all kinds of gluten free foods

  353. I would love a new mixer mine is getting old and I would love one that is a dedicated gluten free mixer, since I used the other one previously with standard flour. Please enter me in the giveaway and thanks for the giveaway.
