Tropical Traditions Organic Brown Rice Syrup Review and Giveaway

Brown rice syrup is often used in gluten-free recipes. I hadn’t used it yet and was given the opportunity when Tropical Traditions sent me a jar of their Certified Organic Brown Rice Syrup which is gluten-free. I made a chewy Gooey Gluten-Free Brownie Recipe and also used in my Udi’s-style Gluten-free Whole Grain Bread Recipe, as it is an ingredient used in Udi’s Whole Grain Loaf. I love it! Household Traditions Giveaway and Review: Gluten-free Dish Liquid

You may familiar with Tropical Traditions’ Coconut Oil and other great products.  Well, they have a line called Household Traditions. As a whole, they carry many gluten-free products, and they are organic, as well! I cannot say enough good things about Household Traditions Dish Liquid!  It is a coconut based dish liquid, great for those with skin conditions, allergies and more! I find it amazing that you can wash dishes with something so mild and natural, while cutting grease, yet leaves no soapy residue behind. I am sure you must have experienced using too much dish soap and then it’s so hard to rinse it off your dishes and/or your hands. A matter of fact, it is gentle on the hands!  That does not happen with Tropical Traditions Dish Soap. It is made from a coconut base and smells wonderful, too! Gluten-free Giveaway and Review: Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil

Tropical Traditions Virgin Gold Label Coconut Oil

In addition to my gluten sensitivity, I have had allergic reactions to many coconut products.  Therefore, I was hesitant on testing this product, but lo and behold I had no reaction at all to this product!  The probable reason?  I read that many people who have food allergies may not have an allergic reaction to a food when consuming their organic version.  Avoiding chemicals, artificial ingredients, etc. is supposed to help those with food allergies.  Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is not refined.  The coconut is shredded (wet milled); cold pressed using the water from the inside of the coconut to make coconut milk; allowing it to sit for about a day to allow the oil to naturally separate from the milk; and then naturally separating the oil from the milk.  Their process is highly commended and makes recipes tastes wonderful!
