Marion’s Smart Delights Gluten-Free Mixes Review and Giveaway

Marion’s Smart Delights gluten-free mixes are manufactured in a dedicated GFCO/GIG (Gluten Intolerance Group of North America) certified gluten-free facility. In addition, it is an allergen-free (free of 8 allergens) and Kosher facility. Their products are certified gluten-free by GFCO (Gluten Free Certification Organization) which means they are tested for below 10ppm (parts per million) gluten. Each new batch is retested; and some batches are sent to the Nebraska Food Science lab to be 100% certain they are safe for you to consume. The test results thus far have been “undetectable” meaning under 5 ppm. Check out the review and enter Marion’s Smart Delights’ generous giveaway! El’s Gluten-Free Snacks Review and Giveaway

Image: El's Kitchen Medleys Gluten Free Snacks

Oh my! What a delight! I am addicted to el’s Gluten-Free Zesty Mix Medleys. The manufacturer, el’s, the makers of these wonderful gluten-free snacks, sent me samples of their Zesty Mix Medleys and Bagel Snaps. I love the Bagel Snaps because they are not as salty as the Medleys, and have a much milder flavor, and I really need to watch my sodium intake. However, the Medleys are to die for! They contain a little bit of everything: potato chips, corn nuts, pretzels, flaxseed corn chips, and a lot of spice, with a bit of a kick (heat). Definitely two tasty snacks! Read on to view a detailed photo of the Medleys.

Earlier this summer, I was on a long flight home from our vacation. When I’m tired is when I make mistakes of consuming gluten. I was handed a similar medley mix on the plane, opened them up and had a few bites. Suddenly a light went off…”These contain gluten! Continue reading “El’s Gluten-Free Snacks Review and Giveaway”

Tropical Traditions Organic Gluten-Free Millet Giveaway and Review

Tropical Traditions sent me some of their gluten free millet (actual grain, not flour). It is certified organic, hulled millet (a whole grain). I grind it into a flour in my coffee grinder and have used it in making gluten-free bread and even throw a little in my morning protein shake, but leave it a little coarser. I feel really good about using freshly ground millet grain, versus millet flour because it provides more nutrients compared to flour which has just been sitting there for who knows how long. If you’d like an opportunity to try Tropical Traditions gluten-free millet, enter the giveaway below which is sponsored by Tropical Traditions. That’s it Gluten Free Fruit Bars Review and Giveaway

Looking for gluten free snack bars that are healthy? Simply put the That’s it.TM gluten-free fruit bars are simply delicious. (period) With only 2 ingredients, fruit and fruit (apple and another fruit), along with 2 whole servings of fruit in each bar, how can you go wrong? The bars are soft and chewy. Both my husband and I positively enjoyed them. They are paired with apple, which makes a lovely pair with all of their flavors. You can eat them plain or cut or tear them up and use them in additional recipes you already makes. I can picture them in a bowl of granola and yogurt, in cereal, or even as a substitute in my gluten free snack bars in which I usually use dates. To me, each bite tastes like a natural, healthy, gummy, as in gummy bears. My husband doesn’t experience them that way, though. But he’s a big fan of gummies. You just can’t mess with that! This is something we would be proud to give a kid – and know they’d enjoy it. We both give these gluten-free fruit bars a big thumbs up!
