El’s Gluten-Free Snacks Review and Giveaway

Oh my! What a delight! I am addicted to el’s Gluten-Free Zesty Mix Medleys. The manufacturer, el’s, the makers of these wonderful gluten-free snacks, sent me samples of their Zesty Mix Medleys and Bagel Snaps. I love the Bagel Snaps because they are not as salty as the Medleys, and have a much milder flavor, and I really need to watch my sodium intake. However, the Medleys are to die for! They contain a little bit of everything: potato chips, corn nuts, pretzels, flaxseed corn chips, and a lot of spice, with a bit of a kick (heat). Definitely two tasty snacks! Read on to view a detailed photo of the Medleys.

Earlier this summer, I was on a long flight home from our vacation. When I’m tired is when I make mistakes of consuming gluten. I was handed a similar medley mix on the plane, opened them up and had a few bites. Suddenly a light went off…”These contain gluten! What am I doing?” Ever since then I have wanted some gluten-free snacks that tasted just like them. And here they are! What a treat!

El’s Gluten-Free Snacks are not only gluten-free, but are also diary-free, egg-free, nut-free, preservative-free, transfat-free, cholesterol-free, artificial color-free, artificial flavor-free, and GMO-free.

And, both Bagel Snaps and Medleys are a good source of Omega 3’s.

They are available in individual or family size.

Gluten Cross-Contamination

No worries, here! El’s samples and tests every batch for under 5ppm (parts per million) gluten. That is the lowest test available. Actually, their letter to us states 5ppm, but their website and packaging still state 10ppm. They have improved their testing process and just haven’t updated their website or packaging yet.

El’s is a small company. You will see on their website that gluten-free authors Danna Korn and Carol Fenster back their new bagel chips.

El’s was generous in offering to sponsor a gluten-free giveaway. See below for details.
