There’s not too much to purchasing a tube of premade polenta, slicing it, and grilling it. However, making homemade polenta is almost as easy, but tastes so much better. You must try it. You can use gluten free polenta or yellow grits. See below for choice of brands. Enjoy! Continue reading “Grilled Homemade Gluten Free Polenta”
Spicy Gluten Free Truffles
Whether you are making my Traditional Gluten Free Truffle Recipe or the Sugar-Free Mashed Potato Truffle Recipe, this spicy seasoning is the perfect addition in which to roll them. My favorite gluten free chocolate is Dagoba’s Xocolatl. It contains chili powder. The combination of chili and chocolate is out of this world as are truffles rolled in a similar mixture. Gluten Free Dutch Apple Pie
Out of all the gluten free pies I have made, I would have to say this gluten free Dutch apple pie is my favorite. It has a unique crust plus a crumble topping, which both create texture, sweetness, and flavor! It’s the best of both worlds. Apple filling is my favorite of all. I love cinnamon and what goes better with it than apples? Okay, cinnamon bread comes to mind, but that’s only good with tons of butter. Meanwhile, enjoy this recipe! Beets and Citrus Arugula Salad Recipe & Dressing
I enjoy making and eating this arugula salad recipe due the zesty flavor of arugula. You do not need a lot of seasonings when you use arugula. Arugula pairs well with citrus as it does with other fruit, nuts and seeds. Enjoy this refreshing salad. It is naturally gluten-free as long as you are sure to use gluten-free fruit when using canned. Continue reading “Beets and Citrus Arugula Salad Recipe & Dressing”

Gluten Free Slider Buns & Better-Than-Secret-Sauce
These buns are “better than gluten hamburger buns!” as one veteran gluten-free dieter described them, and she made them dairy-free using ingredients from the substitutes page. Add your favorite burger and the better-than-secret-sauce, and you’re ready to rock-n-roll.
Whether you are searching for a gluten free slider buns recipe or dinner rolls, the recipe will please everyone. They look like biscuits but have the texture of rolls with eggs (like those gluten ones you used to purchase). If you freeze them and then reheat in the microwave on “reheat” or medium, they will texture up closer to bread, just perfect! Continue reading “Gluten Free Slider Buns & Better-Than-Secret-Sauce”
Grilled Gluten Free Salmon Recipe: Sweet and Savory
One of my Facebook followers requested a recipe for a gluten free salmon recipe that did not contain soy or ginger. This one fits those requirements. Because I am not a fan of fish in general, I enjoy a sweet marinade on mine. If you do, as well, give it a try. I am sure you will save it along with your favorite gluten free salmon recipes and use for years to come. Continue reading “Grilled Gluten Free Salmon Recipe: Sweet and Savory”
Gluten Free Coleslaw Like KFC’s
For years I used to crave KFC’s coleslaw. Now that us gluten free eaters can no longer eat at KFC, I thought you would appreciate my KFC clone dressing. McCormick spices are gluten-free. Be sure to avoid using mayonnaise jars that gluten-eaters may have used if you are gluten intolerant. Double dipping knives in jars can leave cross-contamination. They dip in the mayo jar, spread it on their bread, and then dip in the jar again. Meanwhile, enjoy this gluten free coleslaw recipe. My guests thoroughly enjoyed it on the 4th of July and asked to take the leftover home. Continue reading “Gluten Free Coleslaw Like KFC’s”
