Stovetop Chicken Tagine (With Lemon and Tomato Substitute Options)

Gluten Free Tagine Chicken

Make this perfectly spiced chicken tagine stew with traditional lemon juice and tomatoes or with my suggested substitute ingredients. This is an African recipe usually made in a tagine (the stoneware that is used to cook this delicious stew). Instead, you can use a skillet or Dutch oven. Add or omit dried fruit or even vegetables. Make it your own! I provide several suggestions. Continue reading “Stovetop Chicken Tagine (With Lemon and Tomato Substitute Options)”

I created this recipe because xanthan gum and guar gum causes a laxative effect for one of my cookbook recipe testers. I’ve heard this from other people as well. I already have this Glute-Free Paleo-Style Gum-Free Bread Recipe, but I wanted to create a gum free gluten free recipe based on my favorite gluten-free bread recipe, which is available to everyone.  Give it a try!
