No Starch Added Gluten Free Butter Cookies + Video (by Hand or with Cookie Press)
Without the use of any white starch such as potato, tapioca, corn, or arrowroot, you can make these delicious gluten freeĀ spritz cookies or gluten freeĀ cut-cut butter cookies. The recipe calls for one flour and one gum. The remaining ingredients are standard cookie ingredients. I rolled out some of the dough and cut several different shapes out. I also used my Wilton Cookie Press to make others. While it took three recipes to create this recipe, they’re fairly easy to make, especially by hand.

Copycat Jovial Whole Grain Gluten Free Pastry Flour No. 04 (Gum-Free Option)
A few months ago, I created a Copycat Jovial Ancient Grain Gluten Free Pastry Flour No. 03 recipe. However, there are many more health benefits to whole grains as well as added flavor. This new whole grain gluten free pastry flour blend is free of added starch such as potato, tapioca, arrowroot, rice and cornstarch; inexpensive to make, and can be made even healthier by following my tips. You can make it even less expensive by using the cheapest of the whole grains. I also provide a gum-free substitute.

Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies Without Added Starch
You can make deliciousĀ gluten free chocolate chip cookies without any added white, refined starch. I definitely felt less guilty eating them and theyĀ are still very delicious! The bottom was crunchy. The tops and centers were chewy. The only thing I would do differently next time is to add some chopped walnuts. Then they’d be amazing in my book! Gluten Free Chicken Cordon Bleu
I have only had chicken cordon bleu once in my life, a matter of fact, it was when I was still dating my husband, back in the 70s! Making gluten free chicken cordon bleu was a breeze. It’s not much more difficult than breading chicken. However, it’s delicious! My version uses an herb prosciuttoĀ mix. However, you can use slices of prosciutto instead, to make it easier, which is the traditional method. I enjoyed the extra herbs, though. Plus I had some leftover from my Pork on Pork recipe.
