You’ll love it because it is a fast way to turn a plain meal into a decadence followed by a string of compliments. Using bechamel as a base sauce, you can turn it into a white cheese sauce or cheddar cheese sauce. You can even add wine and/or cream.  Your guests and family will surely be impressed. Gluten Free Italian Easter Bread (Almond, Lemon, or Vanilla)

Braided Gluten Free Italian Easter Bread - Almond, Lemon, or Vanilla

The texture of this Gluten Free Italian Easter Bread is between a pound cake and bread, and maybe a scone. It is moist due to the cream cheese, which lends a rich and creamy flavor and texture. I also have a Gluten Free Dairy Free Easter Bread Recipe.  However, with this cream cheese version, I really wouldn’t have made it any other way. Serve a small, warm slice with butter for brunch or cooled as a dessert with coffee, tea, or milk. Watch the three videos! Choose from gingerbread (shown), buttery cut-out, or crunchy chocolate cookie recipes. I like the idea of gingerbread cookies for the “ginger” (red-head) in your life for St. Patrick’s Day or for anyone! Continue reading “Gluten Free St. Patrick’s Day Cookies (with Dairy Free Options)”
