Stay tuned in on Friday, June 6, when I will post a giveaway where three lucky winners will receive all three flavors of these mixes. Meanwhile, read my review, learn the ingredients and more about them! Simple Mills Gluten Free Banana Muffins Gluten Free Banana Muffin Mix:  Ingredients: Almonds, organic coconut nectar, arrowroot powder, bananas, organic vanilla beans, baking soda, celtic sea salt. The banana muffin mix is my favorite. I feel good about knowing I am eating cleaner with Simple Mills. All you have to do it is plop the mix, one egg, and some water in a bowl, mix by hand, and bake. How simple is that?   Simple Mills Gluten Free Chocolate Muffin Mix Gluten Free Chocolate Muffin & Cupcake Mix:  Ingredients: Almonds, organic coconut nectar, arrowroot powder, unsweetened fair-trade cocoa, organic vanilla beans, baking soda, celtic sea salt. The chocolate is my husband’s favorite flavor. You have a choice of adding additional sweetener to make cupcakes. You can use stevia, which I used, or coconut nectar. While the other flavors only call for one egg, the chocolate flavor calls for two. They rise very nicely and are light in weight.   Simple Mills Gluten Free Pumpkin Muffin Mix Gluten Free Pumpkin Muffin Mix:

Ingredients: Almonds, pumpkin, organic coconut nectar, arrowroot powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, cloves, organic vanilla beans, baking soda, celtic sea salt.

Gluten Free Certified

Simple Mills muffin mixes are not only gluten free, but also paleo and dairy-free. They even provide egg-free substitutes for those who avoid them. They are certified gluten free through the Gluten Free Certification Organization. This means that are tested to contain under 10 parts per million (ppm) gluten. The legal limit set by the FDA is 20 ppm.

All Three Flavors:

Con:  The only negative thing I can possibly think of about these mixes is the amount two of the flavors make. While all three packages state it makes nine muffins, the chocolate is the only one that made nine muffins for me. The chocolate flavor contains two eggs versus one for the others, and it contains more water. The other two made between seven and eight.

Pros: The flour mix is made of ground almonds and arrowroot powder, the mix is free of all gums, dairy, and artificial anything. You have your choice of using butter or oil in all three mixes. Therefore, they are easily made dairy-free or paleo. All three flavors freeze well. So you can make them, freeze them, and defrost whenever you are in the mood for a treat.

If I had kids at home, I would make these anytime they wanted a treat. I seldom use mixes for anything, but I felt so spoiled making these. You don’t even need a mixer! They are so simple to make, thus their name… Simple Mills. Plus, they are moist and delicious!
