Gluten Free White Cake Recipe [Now redirects to Wedding Cake Recipe]
I thoroughly enjoyed creating this gluten free white cake recipe as it is so easy to handle when inverting. It is due its many egg whites, which also makes it moist, along with its butter and sugar. You can use your favorite fillings and frosting from fruit purees to sweetened whipped cream and chocolate ganache to fluffy white frosting, or chunks of fruit within the whipped cream. Make it easy on yourself and use canned fruit such as peaches. Get creative! What will you use for your gluten free white cake? Share your ideas in a comment below.
UPDATE: I NEED TO REMAKE THIS CAKE. THERE MUST BE A MISTAKE IN THE INGREDIENT AMOUNT(S) SOMEWHERE, AS TOO MANY PEOPLE HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE RESULTS. I AM SO SORRY.

Gluten Free Osso Buco in a White Wine Sauce
Osso buco (also known as ossobuco) is my father’s favorite dish. He orders it whenever he sees it on a menu. It is an Italian recipe and when translated mean “hole of bone”. This is due to its succulent bone marrow. Perhaps this does not sound appealing, but you will have to taste it to appreciate it. The rich flavor of the marrow is what creates its rich sauce. Though you will find osso buco recipes that call for red wine, I chose to use white as it is traditional. If you desire an old school version add a bit of cinnamon. Many assume the tomato based sauce is traditional, but it is actually a modern version. Served over polenta or mashed potatoes and topped with gremolada (parsley, lemon juice, and garlic), this gluten free osso buco is a beautiful dish. (See vegan version in the Tips section below). A Twist on Gluten Free Cinnamon Rolls: Chocolate Ganache Filled Rolls
Since my fluffy gluten free cinnamon rolls recipe was such a big hit I thought I would swap the filling for something a bit more elegant. Chocolate ganache suited perfectly. The creamy texture of the ganache adds an additional texture to this dessert which is an important component in the culinary field. Your guests, friends, and/or family will appreciate your efforts as well as this dessert. I hope they enjoy it. Gluten Free Snickerdoodles
Fresh out of the oven or cooled, these gluten free snickerdoodles are to die for! Just like traditional snickerdoodles, they are a light, soft, sugary cookie with a crisp, chewy outer shell. The inside is not quite cake-like, but definitely not dense like regular cookies. They are chewier than cake. I surveyed my Facebook followers on how they enjoy their snickerdoodles. Due to the mixed results, I have added several tips at the bottom of this recipe so that you may adjust it according to your preferences. These are made my way. I hope you get to enjoy them your way! Gluten Free Cheese Crackers
While no gluten are contained in these gluten free cheese crackers, they are more flavorful than some of the gluten crackers I have tasted in the past. Rolled thin and baked crisp, they make a wonderful treat. You can even use them as gluten free gold fish crackers. It is important to note that you can either control the color or the level of spice in this recipe, but not both. Turmeric and paprika are used to enhance the color, as well as carrot juice. Simply put, these gluten free crackers are crisp, flavorful, and colorful. I chose to make these crackers with cornstarch, alone, as it provides the most crispness in baked goods. Enjoy! Creamy Saucy Gluten Free Black Bean Chicken Chili
I have to say, this is the best chili I have ever eaten! It reminds me of ham and beans, made with fresh ham. It is very flavorful, and is made without chili powder and without tomatoes. Due to the amount of cumin it is on the mild spicy side. To make it kid-friendly, cut back on the cumin, and add additional salt. You can easily make this black bean chicken chili organic by using all organic produce and free-range or organic chicken. Continue reading “Creamy Saucy Gluten Free Black Bean Chicken Chili”
Amazing Gluten Free Pumpernickel Bread
When recently asked if I had a gluten free pumpernickel bread recipe, it gave me pause for thought as the gluten version of pumpernickel bread is made with rye flour, as well as others. Could I duplicate rye? Buckwheat flour is very close as a whole grain, and in color. Though many varieties of pumpernickel are a bit sour, I skipped the sourdough starter so that it would be easier for you all to make. I am not a fan of rye bread though this is not only my new favorite gluten free bread, it is my gluten-eating husband’s as well. It was amazing with swiss cheese! Pumpernickel is known for a soft crust, and this one definitely meets those expectations. Enjoy! Continue reading “Amazing Gluten Free Pumpernickel Bread”
Soft Gluten Free Naan (Indian Flatbread)
Naan is luscious Indian flatbread, similar to a tortilla, but thicker. With one simple alteration, you can roll or pat them out thinner to use as tortillas. The flavor and texture are so good that they should be a sin to eat. By far, this gluten free naan is my most raved about recipe. People liken them to their gluten counterpart. Naan is full of possibilities.
