Gluten Free Battered Curly Fries (aka Battered Fries for Battered Husbands)

Gluten Free Battered Curly Fries

Mildly spiced or super hot, these exceptionally flavorful gluten free battered curly fries don’t have to be made curly. Use a standard cut if desired. Pople say they taste like Arby’s curly fries. I’ve included the deep-fried battered and baked versions. Enjoy!

I call these “Batter Fries for Battered Husbands” because I rewarded my husband with them for working in 100ºF weather putting up our new fence. He loves that phrase! I think it made him feel appreciated. I need to do that more often! Continue reading “Gluten Free Battered Curly Fries (aka Battered Fries for Battered Husbands)”

Gluten Free Apple Custard Cake Using Betty Crocker Yellow Cake Mix or Copycat Recipe

It’s crazy how inexpensive this cake is to make, not to mention delicious. Where can you get a buttery gluten free cake for that price? You have to try it! I’ve included dairy free substitutes. That’s what I put in my favorite birthday cake, Gluten Free Boston Cream Pie. Last year I made Gluten Free Boston Cream Cupcakes for a picnic on the lake. This recipe tastes just as good! Udi's Gluten Free Soft White Bread Copycat Recipe

So many of my followers have been enjoying the new Udi’s Gluten Free Soft White Sandwich Bread that I thought I would make a copycat recipe.  My husband really enjoys it for toast and for sandwiches. This bread is designed to make sandwiches in advance and the bread remains soft and fresh. It is wonderful to toast as well. (This recipe calls for Expandex.) Keep in mind that while this bread is denser compared to my other gluten free bread recipes, you can leave it on the counter and it will remain fresh for at least two days. Check out the texture in this video! Continue reading “Udi’s Gluten Free Soft White Sandwich Bread Copycat Recipe”
