While I already have a gluten free egg rolls recipe on this site, this gluten free lumpia recipe is a bit different. The filling and dipping sauce is spiced with garlic, and the sauce has strong accents of garlic and soy sauce. I usually make my egg rolls filled with ground pork, vegetables, and scrambled eggs and my spring rolls with all vegetables. Thin Soft Gluten Free Wraps
These gluten free wraps are soft and pliable, and that’s not all. They are packed with protein. They fall somewhere between a tortilla and a crepe. Don’t allow the fava bean flour to scare you off, if you have tried other bean flours and they were bitter. Fava bean is very mild and not bitter at all. Combining beans with eggs boosts the nutrient values in the beans as eggs are a complete protein (contains all essential amino acids). This recipe is gum-free and grain-free. Gluten Free Egg Foo Young
Egg foo young, also spelled egg foo yong, egg fu yung, egg fooyung, and egg furong, literally means “lots of eggs”. This gluten free egg foo young is prepared with eggs, vegetables, and meat or shellfish, if desired. You can add your favorite vegetables or traditional bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, sliced cabbage, or mushrooms, to name a few ideas. Water chestnuts or bamboo shoots add a delightful texture. Gluten Free Chicken Korma (with Dairy-Free Option)
I have been wanting to develop a gluten free chicken korma recipe for quite some time, now. It is my favorite Indian dish next to butter chicken. Chicken korma is a spicy Indian dish using turmeric or curry plus other spices. Along with cream, it creates a rich, flavorful dish. You can adjust the heat in this gluten free chicken korma by reducing the cayenne pepper, ginger, and coriander, if necessary. It is of medium heat for an Indian dish, though if not accustomed to Indian food, you may think it is hot. Indian food contains many anti-inflammatory spices, making it a smart choice for an entree. Gluten Free Donair Recipe – Meatloaf
This gluten free donair recipe was adapted from Harvard University’s Donair recipe. Donairs are similar to gyros but better. The history behind donairs is very interesting. When Peter and John Kamoulakos tried to introduce their Nova Scotia restaurant clientele to lamb gyros, it did not go over very well. They changed the lamb to beef and created a sweet sauce (some say using evaporated milk, sugar, vinegar and garlic powder). Today there are two restaurants in Ontario, Canada named Halifax Donair (Halifax is a municipality [large city] in Nova Scotia). You will find many Canadian pizza restaurants serving donairs and donair pizzas. This gluten free donair recipe is my version of this very messy, yet savory and sweet fare.

Easy Frittata Recipe: Sweet Potato and Zucchini (Naturally Gluten Free)
What makes this an easy frittata recipe is that you can use leftover to make it right on your stovetop. One night during the week, make sweet potatoes and boiled sliced carrots for dinner, making some extra for this dish. Then in a day or two, use your extra carrots and sweet potato for this dish. Amazing Gluten Free Jamaican Coco Bread Recipe
I was looking to make something different in the gluten free bread category. So, I did a Google search for Jamaican bread and the rest is history. Coco bread got its name because it is usually made with coconut milk, however, there are several version online that call for regular milk, and even coconut. Gluten Free Breaded Chicken using Whole Grain Crackers
Gluten free breaded chicken is no different than regular chicken. I usually use homemade gluten free seasoned bread crumbs, however, this time I wanted something more nutritious. I chose to use Van’s gluten free crackers. They come in several flavors and they’re all whole grain. I used their Lots of Everything flavored crackers. I used chicken breasts for this recipe, however, you can do the same thing with chicken tenders. Meanwhile, they turned out moist and delicious. Enjoy! Gluten Free Chicken Mole (Mild)
Mole is a flavorful Mexican sauce that contains just a tad bit of chocolate. (Chocolate is great in chili, as well.) It usually contains plenty of hot chiles, but this gluten free chicken mole does not. Because chicken tenderizes so quickly it is a fairly fast recipe. When all is said and done you have a rich sauce covering moist, tender pieces of chicken. Instead of serving this with gluten free tortillas, you may serve it with soft naan bread (Indian flatbread). Quick Gluten Free Paella (Without Seafood or Chorizo)
Any paella, including gluten free paella, usually contains chicken along with seafood and chorizo, however, I don’t care for seafood or the gristle in chorizo. I can only find the lower quality chorizo that contains gristle. Therefore, I skipped the seafood and substitute bacon bits for chorizo. To speed things up, I use instant rice in this paella recipe, but you can use regular, short grain rice. Just cook the paella with enough broth to substitute the amount water you would normally use to cook the rice. I didn’t have any saffron, so I skipped it as well. It turned out delicious! I even caught my husband taking a spoonful on his way to place his plate in the sink after our meal was complete. I told him that is one the highest forms of complements he could pay me.
