Gluten Free Taco Zucchini Boats (Turkey or Beef)
Having picked up a couple of 1-1/2 pound packages of ground organic turkey at Costco, I wanted to create a new flavorful recipe using one of them. Gluten Free White Corn Tortilla Recipe (or Arepas – Pita Pockets)
After visiting Mexico this summer, I was determined to find out how to make soft gluten free white corn tortillas. I usually buy Mission Super Soft White Corn Tortillas. They are much softer than their yellow corn tortillas, closer to flour tortillas, but with more fiber and obviously no gluten. However, if you prefer freshly made gluten free corn tortillas and arepas, without gum and preservatives, try this simple recipe. The special corn flour is easily accessible online and in specialty markets. You only need to add water and salt. You don’t need a tortilla press to make them; however it works with one. Best Flan Recipe – Gluten Free – in Every Flavor from Chef Caesar
While recently on vacation in Cabo, I tasted the best flan I have ever had! I used to hate flan because I had only tasted it in the United States where some restaurants use a package mix that contains gelatin. Meanwhile, I developed a recipe for flan using only evaporated milk not too long ago, without any gelatin. It was much better. However, this latest recipe is amazing! The recipe was given to me by Chef, Caesar, at El Molina restaurant, at the Hyatt Ziva in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. (Soon, I’ll share more about this all-inclusive resort in regards to gluten free menus.)
