I’ve made a couple of different Gluten Free Taco Pizza Recipes. However, gluten free enchilada pizza is a whole new ballpark. Imagine the flavor of your favorite enchilada on top of a wonderful gluten-bread-like crust. It’s heaven! You have to try it if you enjoy enchiladas.
Combining cultural foods make them all the better. Pizza meets enchiladas and bring your favorite flavors on amazing gluten free pizza crust.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 recipe gluten free pizza dough (New York-Style Rice Blend or 1 recipe Grilled or Baked Sorghum Blend.
- 1/2 cup gluten free enchilada sauce*, divided
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 pound ground beef, cooked scrambled and drained of excess grease
Instructions:
- Make the crust as instructed at the link for your chosen crust recipe. (The New-Style is bread-like, but tastes amazing, especially when made on a pizza stone.)
- When it's time to add the sauce and toppings, begin by adding some sauce. Add a little bit of cheese before adding any meat or other toppings.
- If desired, add a little enchilada sauce to the scrambled ground beef. Then add the meat to the pizza. Sprinkle on the remaining cheese.
- Bake until the crust is golden brown and the cheese melts.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool 5 minutes before slicing. Slice and serve immediately. Freeze any slices on a baking sheet. Remove from baking sheet once frozen, and store them in a zipper storage bag.
Tips
