I had a member email me requesting a copycat recipe for Tate’s Chocolate Chip Cookies. Not until I made them did I discover that there are actually Tate’s Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies on the market. Tate’s cookies are extremely popular in the South Hamptons and are sold at the Tate’s Bake Shop, well known from coast to coast. Called shaomai in Japan and siomai in the Philippines with slight variations, they are often served at dim sum (Chinese-style brunches where they serve several small appetizers). Elsewhere, they are served as appetizers as well as meals. Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Kale
Flavored with garlic and thyme, this combination of ingredients is incredible. It will convert any kale hater! The sweetness of the sweet potatoes, caramelized onions, and balsamic vinegar couple with garlic and the spice of pepper, salt, and thyme all hide the fact that you eating kale. They all contribute to the complex flavors. Yet, the ingredients are so basic. Serve this dish warm, at room temperature, or chilled.

This jowar roti recipe (Indian Sorghum Tortillas or Flatbread) recipe is incredibly easy to make, may be made gum-free, and contains no added starch. You may have already tried my similar recipe, Gluten Free Oat Tortillas as well as watched the video. This sorghum recipe only requires one simple change. I know that a few people with celiac disease are also oat intolerant and would appreciate an alternative to the oat tortillas. Now, I have provided you with the exact amounts of water to use.
