By the end of 2013, all Dunkin’ Donuts franchise owners will have the opportunity to offer their customers a Dunkin’ Donuts gluten free donut and/or a gluten free blueberry muffin. Learn all about the new baked goods as part of the first gluten free offerings, ingredients, gluten testing/certification, prices, and more.
Update March 2014 – Dunkin’ Donuts no longer offers gluten-free donut.
They tested a blueberry muffin and cinnamon sugar donut in 2013, but pulled it back and will continue to test other gluten-free product in the near future.
Gluten Free Offerings
There will only be two gluten free items offered, a Gluten Free Cake Donut coated with Cinnamon Sugar and a gluten free Blueberry Muffin topped with the same crunchy sugar as its gluten counterpart. They state that they are just as good as their gluten baked goods.
[showmyads]
Each treat is individually wrapped and certified gluten free through the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America. They are even made in a dedicated gluten free facility. This all guarantees that they will not contain more than 10 parts per million (ppm) gluten.
Ingredients
So far, all we know is that they will contain rice flour, potato starch, and tapioca starch.
Price
The suggested retail price for the Cinnamon Sugar Donut will be $1.89 and $2.39 for the Blueberry Muffin.

Hopefully the gluten free community will support their efforts so that the chain will add additional items to their gluten free menu.
So disappointed. No gluten free donuts or muffins in any DD in my Danbury CT area. What’s going on?
Getting a Dunkin Donuts up the street – keep the gluten free!
This excites me so much more than I think it should…
I wonder if the GF doughnuts will contain dairy. Wish we could review the ingredients list ahead of time. Not that doughnuts are the healthiest but it’s nice to have an option for a quick, on the run treat when traveling.
