Gluten Free Falafel with Cucumber Sauce
Falafel, which are popular in the Middle East, is now served all over the world as a replacement for meat, normally have a cake-like texture to them, similar to doughnuts. The texture of this gluten free falafel is something you’ve probably never experienced before, but both my husband and I really enjoyed this. I normally would have cast this recipe aside because it is not the traditional texture inside, but we enjoyed it more than the usual. It has a creamy, almost bean-like texture inside and crispy on the outside. I added a few unusual ingredients, and I am really glad that I did. I hope you enjoy my new version of gluten-free falafel. Gluten Free White Sandwich Bread Recipe – an experiment w/superfine rice flour
Having had a few requests for a gluten free white sandwich bread recipe, I thought I’d create one, seeing that I had to bake bread anyway. My birthday’s coming up and why shouldn’t I give myself a little treat, right? It turned out incredibly well, if I don’t say so myself. I can’t describe the soft texture well enough when it first came out of the oven. Just incredible! That’s the only word I can think of for this bread. Gluten Free Chocolate Cake
This is my version of Hershey’s “Perfectly Chocolate” Chocolate Cake. This gluten free chocolate cake recipe; however, is moister. I knew it would be a very moist cake just by reading the recipe. That’s the way my husband and I like our chocolate cake, rich and very moist! I told him that I was going to call this my chocolate mud cake; however, mud cakes are traditionally very gooey. Rather than using ketchup and other highly processed sauces, you can use fresh fruit to make your own sauces used for toppings like this savory cherry sauce. It is a very creative recipe which you can adjust to meet your tastes. I like to change the seasonings, wine, and type of onion used. However, in a savory cherry sauce, it is best to use a sweet onion such as green (shallots) or even red. 5 Cheese Gluten Free Grilled Cheese Sandwich
While watching Diners Drive-ins and Dives I heard the words “5 Cheese Easy Grilled Cheese Sandwich”. Ah, it seems like I haven’t had a grilled cheese sandwich in ages, not to mention a gluten free grilled cheese sandwich. My husband calls this sandwich The Widow Maker (high fat, high cholesterol, high sodium) – though he ate half my sandwich, after stating he was only going to have a couple of bites.
