Take the American classic, mac and cheese, and turn it into a delicious and hearty appetizer that doesn’t need an oven, which is important during the holidays. You can get away with serving fewer appetizers when you have at least one that is hearty. However, they may just eat too many because they are so delicious! I provide you with your choice of two types of breading options. Continue reading “Fried Gluten Free Macaroni and Cheese Balls”

Gluten Free Loaded Quiche (Bacon)
Similar to a loaded baked potato, this loaded gluten free quiche is a treasure trove of decadence. Bacon, caramelized onion, sauteed red peppers, cheddar cheese, and cream (or sour cream) make this quiche amazing. However, the flaky easy-to-make Gluten Free Cream Cheese Pastry Crust with its tender and flakiness is the shining star of this dish. However, it does not detract from its flavorful filling. Gluten Free Cream Cheese Pastry Dough – Pie Crust
F. For a new gluten free baker, this gluten free cream cheese pastry dough is the most forgiving. The cream cheese creates elasticity in the dough making it easy to work with, yet produces a tender and flaky pie crust for sweet or savory dishes, crackers, pastries, and more.

Gluten Free Chocolate and Peanut Butter (or Caramel) Tart with Pretzel Crust + Video
After creating the Gluten Free Pretzel Pie Crust, in my mind, I had two good choices for fillings, both creating incredible sweet and salty delights. They are chocolate ganache and salted caramel. Then there’s chocolate ganache and peanut butter. I chose the latter but explain how to make the caramel filling as well. You can’t go wrong with either. The crust is so easy to make, too! Gluten Free Puff Pastry Dough – Small Batch for Cake Bases or Pastries
If you’re looking for a small batch gluten free puff pastry, this recipe is perfect to use as a base for up to 12-inch round pans or about 4 Danish pastries. When baked in a 9-1/2-inch springform pan, it will shrink about 1-1/2 inches. This small batch recipe is one-quarter of the recipe that you will find here. In addition, I’ve added a new ingredient substitute that will help prevent sogginess in cakes where this pastry is used as a base. This is especially useful for desserts filled with custard. I’m using this as a base to make a St. Honore cake like the famous bakery, Victoria Pastry Company, makes in San Francisco. Enjoy!
