Gluten Free Pumpkin Roll Recipe – Roulade
One of my Facebook followers recently asked me for a gluten free pumpkin roll recipe. Last year, I developed a recipeĀ for one of my clients, but I don’t have the copyrights to that recipe. Therefore, here is a new one. I hope you enjoy it. I adapted and converted Trisha Yearwood’s wheat flourĀ pumpkin roll recipe on Food Network. Gluten Free Pineapple Cherry Upside Down Dump Cake
A surprisingly addictive gluten free dump cake recipe made with canned cherry pie filling and canned pineapple. A dump cake is an easy recipe where you literally dump the ingredients into a baking dish and bake it. Using a cake mix is the usual method. While you can use Betty Crocker’s Gluten Free Yellow Cake Mix in this recipe, it is so much better when you use my self-rising gluten free cake flour blend recipe and sugar. I am not a fan of cherry, but combined with pineapple, the flavor is pretty incredible. I couldn’t stop eating it. I felt so guilty afterwards. Oh well, I’ll have to watch what I eat for the next few days. Enjoy! Continue reading “Gluten Free Pineapple Cherry Upside Down Dump Cake”
Gluten Free Pumpkin Cheesecake with Pecan or Graham Crust
The key to this delicious gluten free pumpkin cheesecake is patience. Allowing to slowly cool in the oven prevents the deep falling and cracking that many cheesecakes do. Continue reading “Gluten Free Pumpkin Cheesecake with Pecan or Graham Crust”
One Layer Gluten Free Chocolate Cake with Almond Coffee Frosting
This is a wonderful size cake to make when you’re only having one or two guests over or have a small family. I like to make small cakes so that I am not tempted to continually eat sweets. The combination of the coffee almond frosting and chocolate cake creates a mocha sensation to rock your world. This gluten free chocolate cake is decadently moist and chocolaty. Gluten Free Caramel and Pecan Blondies
Blondies are dessert bars, blonde brownies. The cake portion traditionally contains flour, butter, brown sugar, baking powder, vanilla and eggs. Similar to chocolate brownies, they are a bit heavier but blonde in color. These decadent gluten free blondies are topped with dulce de leche (thick, rich caramel) and pecans. The cake layer is made from traditional blondie ingredients. Enjoy. Continue reading “Gluten Free Caramel and Pecan Blondies”
Gluten Free Meringue Ghost Carrot Cake
Being allergic to pumpkin, I reach for carrots or butternut squash during the fall. This carrot cake is decorated with meringue ghosts to celebrate Halloween. I used my raved aboutĀ gluten free carrot cake recipe with cream cheese frosting, but I did not frost the sides. Enjoy and happy upcoming Halloween to you! Gluten Free Fudge Cake with Cheesecake Filling
I was digging through my late mother’s old recipes and stumbled across a cake she had never made, at least not while us kids were still at home. It was Double Fudge Fancifill using Pillsbury Plus Cake Mix, which they no longer make (contained gluten). It had a cheesecake-like filling between layers of chocolate cake andĀ frosted withĀ Pillsbury Ready-to-Spread Chocolate Frosting Supreme, which happens to be gluten-free and is still on the market. Gluten Free Honey Cake Recipe for Rosh Hashanah
Making a gluten free honey cake recipe for rosh hashanah is easier than you may think. I hear so many complaints, even from my gluten-baking friends that honey cake is difficult to make, at least a moist one. However, this recipe is far from dry. It really turned out perfectly. I hope you enjoy it as much as my husband and I did. It’s definitely a keeper for years to come. Continue reading “Gluten Free Honey Cake Recipe for Rosh Hashanah”
Apricot Cherry Gluten Free Streusel Coffee Cake Recipe (or Tart)
Last month, I used my butter cake recipe to make this beautiful gluten free streusel coffee cake recipe. I just added fresh fruit and streusel topping. Instead of using my usual Gluten Free All Purpose Flour Blend Recipe in the topping, I used my Self-Rising Cake Flour Blend Recipe. It created a higher rise and lighter topping. If you prefer, you can use the same flour as you do in the cake. In addition, you can create a tart instead of a cake, omit the streusel and dust it with confectioners’ sugar (see the photo below the recipe.) Enjoy!
