Sugar-free chocolate can be expensive, and if you have to find a safe gluten-freeĀ brand on top it, it can be even more difficult. With this gluten-free sugar-free chocolate recipe, you can make dark chocolate or chocolate ganache. If you are also on a dairy-free diet, you can still make both. For dairy-free ganache,Ā instead of using heavy whipping cream, you use coconut milk. For the fat in this recipe, you have the option of using shortening (I use organic palm shortening) or coconut oil. Depending upon its use and your dietary needs will determine which ingredients you use. ThisĀ recipe is low in carbs when not using cream. I hope you enjoy this recipe. It has many uses. You can even break it up to use as chocolate chips in your baked recipes.

Gluten Free Pear Crumble

Image: Gluten Free Pear Cobbler

You can make this gluten free pear crumble recipe much easier by using canned pears. However, fresh pears are full of vitamins and minerals. No matter what flour blend you use, it should out about the same because the recipe calls for very little flour. Note, though, tapioca browns easier, but is chewy, and cornstarch has high crisping qualities, and potato starch with just a little less. I have also provided some holiday garnish suggestions. This recipe can be made allergen-free if you skip the nuts. Continue reading “Gluten Free Pear Crumble”

I already have a recipe for a Gluten-Free Dairy-Free Brownies. They are very moist. This gluten free brownie recipe calls for chocolate versus cocoa powder. I like this recipe because of they are moist and not overly sweet. Continue reading “Gluten Free Brownie Recipe with Peanut Butter Swirls”

Gluten Free Spinach Pasta Recipe

This gluten free spinach pasta recipe is adapted from my Gluten Free Egg Noodle Recipe. You may be surprised that spinach pasta does not contain a lot of spinach, but it certainly is healthier to include it than not. Spinach pasta brings color to meal and a bit of savory flavor. You cannot tell it contains spinach when you taste it, especially if you use a flavorful sauce. I tested mine out with my latest Gluten Free Bechamel SauceĀ mixed with Parmesan cheese. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Continue reading “Gluten Free Spinach Pasta Recipe”

Fluffy Gluten Free Buttermilk Biscuits

Fluffy Gluten Free Biscuits

These gluten free buttermilk biscuits turned out amazing! Recently I developed a recipe for a substitute for Gluten Free Bisquick. While everyone really enjoys the recipe and has been raving about it, I found it a little too starchy. So, I improved upon the blend while creating this new gluten free buttermilk biscuits recipe. I used cornstarch as a base instead of potato starch and later added some additional potato starch. I was able to enjoy these biscuits without adding butter, straight from the oven. I hope you enjoy them as much we did. Continue reading “Fluffy Gluten Free Buttermilk Biscuits”

Gluten Free Oat Bread (without Tapioca)

I have several different gluten free oat bread recipes, one for bread machines, one that is dairy free, and another that contains milk. However, because I am allergic to tapioca flour/starch, I created this oat bread recipe just for me, and others who are allergic to tapioca. Oat bread is my favorite gluten-free bread. It is flavorful, has a great texture, and is healthy for us. I hope you enjoy this recipe. Because it contains a little fava bean flour (which is not bitter), it rises high and makes it lighter. Enjoy! Continue reading “Gluten Free Oat Bread (without Tapioca)”
