I already have a recipe for a Gluten-Free Dairy-Free Brownies. They are very moist. This gluten free brownie recipe calls for chocolate versus cocoa powder. They are both delicious, but the creamy peanut butter swirls make it taste like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. If you enjoy Reese’s, you’ll really appreciate these brownies. I like this recipe because of they are moist and not overly sweet. Continue reading “Gluten Free Brownie Recipe with Peanut Butter Swirls”

Crusty Multi-Grain Gluten Free Boule (Egg Free)

Image: Gluten Free Boule Sliced

This gluten free boule has taken me four attempts to create. It is very tasty, has a hard, crunchy crust, and a wonderful texture. During my previous experiment, I only used 1/2 teaspoon of yeast and allowed the dough to rest for about 18 hours. It gave it a bit of sourdough flavor. You can experiment with this yourself. Meanwhile, enjoy this crusty gluten free boule. It tastes so good just with butter. I can’t wait to use it for spinach dip during the holidays and smaller versions for soups and chili. You can tailor this frosting to your liking. If you enjoy plenty of tanginess, add some lemon zest. When using to frost a chocolate cake, add vanilla extract. Either way, it makes for a delicious frosting.

I recently used this frosting for my gluten free chocolate cake, and everyone loved it. Of course, it also goes great with my gluten free carrot cake or gluten free dark chocolate cupcakes. Continue reading “Gluten Free Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe (Corn- and Dairy-Free Options)”

Crispy Gluten Free Corn Tortillas Recipe Using Cornmeal

Image: Tostada made with Gluten Free Corn Tortilla

Most corn tortillas are made with masa harina which are treated with lime. Since I am allergic to lime (both citrus and the type used to treat masa), I created this gluten free corn tortilla recipe using cornmeal instead of masa harina. It works great for crispy tacos and tostadas. See the instructions for how to make them crispy. For a soft, corn tortilla using masa harina, see the Soft Gluten Free Corn Tortillas Recipe. Gluten Free Spinach Pasta Recipe

This gluten free spinach pasta recipe is adapted from my Gluten Free Egg Noodle Recipe. You may be surprised that spinach pasta does not contain a lot of spinach, but it certainly is healthier to include it than not. Spinach pasta brings color to meal and a bit of savory flavor. You cannot tell it contains spinach when you taste it, especially if you use a flavorful sauce. I tested mine out with my latest Gluten Free Bechamel Sauce mixed with Parmesan cheese. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Continue reading “Gluten Free Spinach Pasta Recipe”

If you’re in the mood for a calzone, making these gluten free biscuits stuffed with a bacon cheeseburger filling. Just add some dough to a muffin tin, add your favorite filling, and cover it with additional dough. It can be that easy. You can use traditional filling or this bacon cheeseburger filling.
