Using a combination of Jovial Gluten Free Bread Mixes without added starch (No. 01 – ancient grain) and (No. 02 – whole grain), I created this gluten-free bread recipe. You may use dairy-free ingredients if desired. I used a combination of dairy and dairy-free in the one pictured. This recipe is perfect when you have a little mix left in each box, but not enough to make one or the other. During the holidays, this gluten free artichoke dip is extremely popular.  However, it is perfect for any special occasion. The classic recipe usually calls for sour cream or cream cheese. Instead, I used a bechamel sauce (flour and butter) with onion instead. It makes for a very flavorful dip/sauce. I even added some cheese, cooked bacon, and omitted the traditional spinach. Miss the taste of wheat? Make this wheat-like gluten free bread in your oven or in a bread machine with a gluten free setting. I used the Breadman BK1050S. The bread not only tastes like wheat bread but is fibrous as well. Use it for sandwiches or toast. Due to its high-fiber content, it holds plenty of moisture.  The shocker is that this bread contains nuts but tastes nothing like nuts at all. Gluten Free Bread Rounds Sandwich

If I were served this sandwich made with these gluten free sandwich rounds in a restaurant, I truly would not be able to tell if they were gluten free or contained gluten. These are my new replacement for Schar’s gluten free baguettes and rolls. That’s all I can tell you is that the texture is perfect, the bread is pliable/bendable, and my sandwich was delicious!
