Tarte tropézienne, also known as “La Tarte de Saint-Tropez” is a pastry dessert consisting of a brioche filled with pastry cream, bavarian cream, and similar fillings. Traditionally, you refrigerate the dough overnight. With this gluten free tarte tropezienne, you do not refrigerate the dough. It’s fast and easy to make. Gluten Free BRAT Pancakes

My granddaughter was visiting and the need to be on the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast) arose. So, on short notice, I threw together a few ingredients to make some applesauce pancakes without any starch, just rice flour. Of course, I omitted gums as well. You can also make them with bananas. Gluten Free Sun Dried Tomato Bread with Parmesan

I just had to create a gluten free sun-dried tomato bread with some Parmesan cheese. I love creating recipes that contain food to which I’m allergic, tomatoes in this case. I enjoy living vicariously through my husband’s meals. He thoroughly enjoyed this bread. He said that he could taste the Parmesan but didn’t recognize the sun-dried tomatoes. He did, however, note that whatever it was, was a little sweet. So, obviously the sun-dried tomatoes are not overpowering, but add just the right something to this lovely bread. I’m thinking it would make an awesome grilled cheese sandwich. He agreed but had his first piece as soon as I sliced the loaf along with some margarine.
